Girl Power!

Sending September Smiles your way!  I've been using lots of my girly stamps, and I started a new job, so Girl Power it is!

I see many starting Fall and Christmas creations already, but when you live in the desert and it's still hotter than heck, I'm just not there yet.  We've got a holiday happening this month too, and the start of holidays for every month now until the end of the year.  That sounds so crazy to me, but I am truly looking forward to all of it, and I hope you are too!

Here we go...

So in July I posted a card I made with this same layout, and had said at the time that I had made a handful of them, and so this is another.  There just isn't enough focus on telling each other, and especially the young women coming up in the business world today, how amazing they are.  We can all use a little boost and I love giving cards like this and I hope you do too.  The stamp set is from Unity Stamps, she's one of the Angie Girls and is called Poppy Girl.  I did add a face to her, that doesn't come with the set.

Doing what you like is Freedom
Liking what you do is happiness

I just started a new job, and in my head I was hoping I looked like this on my first day...haha, but holy cow I was a bundle of nerves.  It's been 10 years, yes a decade, since I even interviewed anywhere else, and didn't think I would, but life leads you in different directions sometimes.  I just finished my first week, and guess can teach an old dog new tricks and I'm lovin' it!

This is a stamp from Hampton Art, and is one of those Peachy Cheap deals where I got I think 6 sets of stamps for a smokin' deal.  Well, the quality is not amazing, but I do think this gal certainly is.

Brave & Beautiful

Well it just wouldn't be right if I had a Girl Power theme without throwing in a glass of wine, right?!  This is another Unity Stamps/Angie Girl and it is called Miranda Girl, and again I added a face to her that is not included.  I found this pad of paper at Joann's and had to have it.  I don't buy a lot of 12 x 12 paper pads, but this one had me and it's by Park Lane and it's called Wonder Seeker.

Cheers to September and I hope for all kinds of positive things for you and yours. Stay safe, take care, and whatever you create, as always, is welcome here :)
