Sending September Smiles your way! I've been using lots of my girly stamps, and I started a new job, so Girl Power it is!
I see many starting Fall and Christmas creations already, but when you live in the desert and it's still hotter than heck, I'm just not there yet. We've got a holiday happening this month too, and the start of holidays for every month now until the end of the year. That sounds so crazy to me, but I am truly looking forward to all of it, and I hope you are too!
Here we go...
I just started a new job, and in my head I was hoping I looked like this on my first day...haha, but holy cow I was a bundle of nerves. It's been 10 years, yes a decade, since I even interviewed anywhere else, and didn't think I would, but life leads you in different directions sometimes. I just finished my first week, and guess what....you can teach an old dog new tricks and I'm lovin' it!
Cheers to September and I hope for all kinds of positive things for you and yours. Stay safe, take care, and whatever you create, as always, is welcome here :)

Click here to enterHello and Happy August! The theme I chose for this month is about FRUIT, and I am drawn to any type of fruit paper or stamp for that matter, and have a separate container just for them. I hope I'm not the only one, but it's hard for me to even use some of the papers I have they are just so cute, and I know you can relate to that. I guess that's part of being a part of this crazy craft we do! I am seeing a lot of lemons lately, which is so perfect right now for Summer :)
Well, I hope your August is fabulous and will be full of some fun things and maybe even some new and happy surprises. Stay cool, stay safe, and I can't wait to see your fruity and fun creations. Whatever you have is, as always, welcome here :)
(For All Challenges:) Choosing just one winner on the entries is just so very hard for me to do, but I do promise to visit each and every one of you that enters with a happy hello and a comment on your creativity. Let this be a fun and happy place for everyone, sharing what we all truly love to do, and that's to create!

Click here to enterHiiii!! How's it going? It's July and as you can imagine hot, hot, hot here where I live in Phoenix. I'm happy to have a 3 day weekend for the 4th of July holiday here in the US, and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. I hope you do too, if you celebrate it that is. To me it certainly means Summer is here!
The theme this month is Animal Prints. Lately I haven't even planned for what the next challenge would be, I just look at what I've created and on my desk during the last several weeks, and it just seems to be working out for me, which isn't a bad thing. Not sure why animals are in my thought process, but there are so many different prints to choose from, and I know you will use your creative imagination and wow me and inspire me, as you always do :)
Well that's all I have for you this month. As always, I hope it's fabulous for you, and that you and yours stay safe and are happy. I can't wait to see your animal prints, no matter what they are, and I hope you'll show me some fun things from your stash, old or new, it's always welcome here :)

Click here to enterHey there! Here we are at June already and it is hot and steamy here in Phoenix, I tell ya. It went from beautiful, to not at all, in a heartbeat. I do hope it's fabulous wherever you are, and that you'll invite me :)
The theme this month is all about FRIENDS, and truly where in the world would we be without them? The title, is from the Golden Girls of course, and if you haven't watched at least 5, make that 10, in your lifetime, well I'm not sure I understand you at all, haha! That show cracked me up in so many ways, and the one with Burt Reynolds...OMG. Think about all of the actors and actresses who were on there, and some who weren't even anybody at the time. Those women knew what real friendship was, and I hope you have some of the most fun, crazy, and special friends in your life that you can relate to as well.
I find it easy to make cards for friends, I'm just terrible at mailing them, (sad face), but when I get on a roll look out! I have a stack right now just waiting for some postage. So, if you can put the word "friend" somewhere on your creation this month, it would make me happy, and I can kind of pretend you're sending it to me....see how that works?
This stamp set is so cool and so fun, and the minute I saw how it all worked in a video, I had to have it. It's called Sunshine and Rainbows and it's a rainbow builder from Unity Stamps, and then there's the fact that there's no coloring involved too if you're not feeling it that day, and of course we all have those days, and also those moments and events when you need a card like NOW! That was a really long sentence, but you know what I mean.
So now we have a stamp that I just think is so pretty and there's hardly any coloring involved in it really, and it's called Type Write and it is also from Unity Stamps that I am obsessed with, as you probably already know. The little bird makes me happy, and I just used a double sided scrap I had, and added some gems. I also have, and continue to need every typewriter stamp I see. I'm not sure why, but I do remember my typing teacher in high school who was kinda cool, but when we had to learn on a manual typewriter first before we could move on to electric, I didn't think she was at that moment. I'm showing my age, and if you're really young you're probably ROTFL right now :)
I hope your month is amazing and full of some fun, don't work too hard like me, and is spent with some special friends too. If you join my challenge you'll be all ready for them when you seen them!

Click here to enterHello and Happy May!!
It's May and Spring and I hope the weather is turning beautiful for those of you who've gone through an icky winter. Here in Phoenix it's heating up, so Summer is not my friend and today, for instance, it's going to be 99...but not 100 yet, so that's something! No worries, because when I win the lottery, I can finally become a snowbird and actually spend the summers "home" in Wisconsin (fingers and toes crossed really, really tight) :)
So on to the theme this month. Is it just me or are succulents everywhere and truly a designer "thing" lately? Didn't we just always use to call them cactus or cacti? Is cacti just one, and cactus more than one? I'm too lazy to look it up. Anyway, I live in the desert, so ya I see ALOT of them and maybe that's it. I just bought a new background stamp with a bunch of tiny little ones that I adored, and so this months theme was born...ta-da! Funny how it all comes together sometimes.
Whatever kind of succulents, cactus, cacti or whatever you choose to call them that you can find in your stash, even if it's just papers, dig them out and let me see whatcha got! They are kinda fun to color, but my watercolor palette
is full of some real funky green water going on right now I will say!
So this is the background stamp that started it all, and she's a beauty. Yes, it's a full background, but I just chose to use part of it because as you'll see in my next creation, I used one of those cute little guys that were cut off of the bottom of this one, so no worries that any of them were harmed in the making of this card. Love this sentiment that comes with it, because it's the little things that mean so much after all of course.
Here's another one of them cuties that I've put on the inside.
That's a wrap for me, and now I'm hungry so a wrap does sound good right now, but I think a sub is in my very near future. Sorry I'm a little later than usual, it's noon-time-ish here in my neck of the woods, but as I told you last month, work is kicking my behind so I slept in a little bit today. Later I'm going to a Kentucky Derby party, but there will be no mint juleps for me because ew...just ew. My month has a few fun things happening along the way, and some medical "testing" too, so keep sending those good vibes my way because they're working :)
I hope your month is awesome, and full of some wonderful surprises too, so as always, please take care and stay extra safe out there. Stay positive and I'll remind myself to do the same!

Click here to enterHi!!!! Happy April!!
If you've been hanging out around me and my blog for awhile, you know this is one of my favorites and (I think) I've used it almost every year. I mean who doesn't like to make cards with flowers on them? I feel like flowers are on my cards almost always, I just can't get enough of them. I didn't make any cards with with showers this year, but if I have some time, maybe I'll pop in with one at some point this month. Don't hold me to that because work is taking up all of my play time lately, and I don't like it in the least!
I hope you're all keeping busy and crafting your sweet little hearts out during what continues to be a little bit of a crazy time in all of our lives, but we're getting through it and the worst is definitely behind us.
We got this!!

How can it be March already? Anyhoo, I'm sure you've heard the expression, and I've used it myself quite a bit lately when someone asks you how you are..."well it's not all rainbows and unicorns"... but I really do like rainbows and unicorns, really I do, and so it was a light bulb moment and here we are with it being a blog challenge!
This month is also St Patrick's Day, celebrated by some who like whiskey and green beer (who, me?) but when you think of leprechauns and Lucky Charms and a pot of gold I wish I had, there can be rainbows involved with them as well.
Unicorns and the magic of them, there's just something about them and I didn't realize how many unicorn stamps and digital stamps I had, so it was hard for me to decide which to use and tell myself to just stop already with what I had. I am holding one of them over 'til next month though, so you'll just have to wait for it :)

Happy February!
This month the celebration of Valentine's Day happens, so there's hearts galore everywhere. I love love to be honest, but I understand it can be a bit much for some. My plan: Eat pizza, watch Sleepless in Seattle, cry, hug my dog, and go to bed. Still I have great respect (and much envy) for those who will be celebrating in a much grander way, and I sure hope you do.
There are many who say it's a fake/Hallmark holiday, and love should be shown and celebrated everyday to the one you love; blah, blah, blah. You know, I couldn't agree more in many ways to that statement, but for the love of cupid, could we gals get a day where we just get to be loved and adored just a little bit more?
Soooo.....hearts, hearts, any kind of hearts, be them big, small, and about anything at all (that rhymes and I wasn't even trying). Let's see them and show them and add them to everything we do this month! Don't get me wrong, if you're making Valentine's for the loves in your life, I want to see them ALL!!!
We all know that song by Jackie DeShannon, What the World Needs Now:
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
It's the only thing that there's just too little of.
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No not just for some, but for everyone.
***Don't forget to go to the grocery store on February 15th for half off chocolate and $5 roses for yourself, I'll be there, and we deserve it ;)
LOTS of Love, Hearts, and Hugs to you my beauties,
Jeannie T.

Click here to enterHappy January and Happy New Year!
It's definitely a time for celebration as we let go of 2020 and look forward to something bright and shiny and new. It's a time of celebration for sure, and also my birthday month, so believe me I always feel like it's a true fresh start for me and for the new year.
Let's face it, all of our troubles and problems don't go away, but we have to look at that glass as half full my friends, and stay strong and hopeful and always, always look towards the many beautiful things and people we have in our life.
I've been busy, so I have a few creations to share with you this month:
This was super fun for me to make and I gave it to a special friend of mine for her birthday. Inside Message: Make the Everyday Magical
It's all about the sentiment, and these sweet angels sum it all up perfectly, don't they?
Let's just try and make a promise to ourselves this year, and always, to just celebrate everything good that comes our way and be truly thankful for it.
