Quirky Qwerty ~

I've been such a slacker this week, I figured I'd better get something on here for ya....so I pulled out an embossing folder stamped paper I had for the background, and made this simple but fun card!  My mojo is on the couch, so I think I'll go join it ;)

A Serious Thank You ~

Today another card from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit from August, I think.  I still have a bit more to use up in this one, and I am determined to use every piece of it!

Cherry Blossoms ~

There isn't anything that says Spring more than a cherry blossom tree, and I know some of would love to see Spring come early this year!  This card was made at sweet little Stampin' Up get together yesterday.  Thanks gals for a fun time!

All Shook Up ~

Part of my happy Saturday has consisted of finally making the Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit for December called All Shook Up...woot, woot!!

The kit makes 9 cards, 3 of each sentiment, and the only thing I did different was that I mounted them onto some thicker white cardstock and finished off the inside a bit more too.  I'm not happy unless my card weighs at least 5 lbs!

Such pretty colors, which just happen to be from the 2013-2015 In Color set, that are all me!  Love them!

More Symbols of February with Hambo ~

It's mid-February already and that means more inspiration for our monthly challenge at the Hambo Hoedown, which is "Symbols of February" which means we're looking for things like:  
Purple (Feb Birthstone is Amethyst) 
Violets (Feb's flower) 
Fishes/Water (The Zodiacs are Aquarius until the 18th and Pisces from the 19th on.)

I found a free digital vintage violet download, and used the always adorable Bailey Flower digital stamp, to create a February birthday card for a co-worker of mine.

Pink Camouflage ~

If a gal likes pink camo, she gets pink camo on her birthday.  This was made especially for an awesome co-worker!

Flowers of true Friendship never fade ~

Finally, the third card made at The Occasional Artist using 3 different stamps.  The background on the light pink was also stamped.  I did add the polka dot paper and twine to it, but this is certainly a feel good card that any friend would love!

Three Hearts ~

Here is the second card we made at the Occasional Artist this month.  This is just two different stamps (the heart stamped 3 times) but the simplicity of it and the colors sure do make for a very cute Valentine.  Of course the sparkly goodness makes it just that much more sweet!  With different colors, this could be a great wedding card too, don't you think?

Yesterday I said I'd have two cards for you today, but I just couldn't get a good pic of the third one. So that means you'll just have to come back tomorrow and visit!

Symbols of February ~

 

 It's time for the new challenge at the Hambo Hoedown and this time it's Symbols of February; Meaning Purple for birthstone (amethyst), Violets (for the flower), and anything water or fishy (Pisces and Aquarius are the zodiacs).  If you tell me I can use purple on a card, which just happens to be my favorite color, well that's just what I'm going to use!  Couldn't you just hug this adorable Beast?  Join in on the fun for a chance to win some stamps of your own!

An Old Favorite ~

I've used this digital stamp many ways over the last couple of years, and it is a true favorite of mine.  I happened to find an old one tucked in between some things, so I fluffed it up a bit, and she's ready for 2015!
