One of my favorite colors is purple, and all shades of it.  The challenge this week at The Play Date Cafe is black and white with a splash of lavender/purple.  I chose to use Lavender Lace cardstock from Stampin' Up, and some black and white paper from 7 Gypsies.  The image is from My Grafico, and a personal fav.  She's just so gosh darn cute, and I thought of her right away when I saw this challenge.  Of course I had to add some bling to her hat, just because!

Peace & Luv,
Well hello there! How was your weekend?  Mine was great, but never long enough.  You know how that goes, right?!  This card is made using CTMH papers that included some stickers called Miracle, together with some vanilla cardstock, and kraft paper.  Then just a bit of some crocheted lace and I popped a pearl into the center of the flower.  Love these colors!

It's Sunday nite, and I've been watching the Hallmark tearjerker that's on.  As sappy as they are, I'm just a sucker for them. Come on, it has Betty White in it so how bad can it be?  Seriously tho, it's a cute love story.

Have a great week!

Peace & Luv,
I attended a Close to My Heart party over the weekend and these are 2 of the things that we made with some of the new papers and stamps they have out. Don't worry, you'll see the 3rd creation tomorrow!

I can't tell you how much I love, love, love it all!  The colors are just so rich and beautiful.  The little Inspire card didn't originally come with the 2 flowers I added afterward.  That was due to my sudden lack of stamping skills I guess.  So many digital images lately, I kinda lost it a little bit I think.

The other creation is a wonderful bookmark, and I love that the word Dream is on it, since that's where reading certainly takes me sometimes.

It was another wonderful party, and if you need information about ordering any of these new products, let me know and I'll hook you up.

Thanks Ronah & Jan - you're the best!

Peace & Luv,
Like I promised yesterday, this is the 3rd creation from our Close to My Heart party last weekend.
  It's a stunner, right?!

This is another amazing new stamp set that just came out. Our consultant put this design together that I think showcases the colors and stamps wonderfully.
Thanks so much again Ronah for a great par-tay!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sweet SketchWednesday, one of my favorite days!  The sponsor of our challenge is a fav too, Bugaboo Stamps!  The prize is 7 digi stamps that value $21, and there are so many images to choose from that you will be amazed.  If you haven't checked them all out recently, be sure you do.

I chose to use one of the new images and her name is Ava.  She's part of a new set, and together with her friend Deacon, it's just awesome. Yes I already have the whole set, if you really need to know...hehe!  The papers I used besides the Stampin' Up Pretty In Pink cardstock, are from DCWV's All Dressed Up stack.  The shabby pink rose is from Hobby Lobby, and the hearts were actually ribbon slides. I just cut off the slider part!  It's kinda goth, kinda shabby chic, and kinda Valentine-y too!

Check out what the rest of the fabulous Design Team Divas on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog have created, and be sure to join us.  I love checking out all of your creativity, and your blogs too!

Peace & Luv,

I would never have thought to put these colors together, and yet they are the color challenge at The Play Date Cafe this week, so I had to try it. I like the earthy feel of it. I used some Basic Grey element stickers, and a couple of nesties, with a CTMH flower.  This card is also made using the Cardabilities sketch for this week.  Another Thank You card for a special order I need to finish.  So many cards, so little time!

Thank you Maralyn for the stickers!
Peace & Luv,

Hoppy Monday Wishes to you and OMG..........the Packers are going to the Superbowl?!!!  I can't believe it!  Never did I think this season would bring us to this point!

This is a Pink Petticoat image, the DP's are from a small stack called Something for Everyone and it's from Nikki Sivils, and the cardstock is Stampin' Up.

Have an awesome day!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Football Sunday!!  It's a very special day for football as my Packers will be playing da Bears in just a few hours for the chance to go to the Superbowl!

I found this little set of cling stamps in the $1 bin at Mike's and had to have it, of course, just because it's a cheesehead.  I suppose Neal will be the recipient of this one!

The brats will be on the grill soon, and let's keep our fingers crosses that it's a great day for football!

Peace & Luv,

Just fluttering by on this Friday-Eve with some flowers and a dragonfly, and it doesn't get any better than that now does it?

The papers are from Basic Grey, the Marjolaine paper pad, together with some Stampin' Up cardstock.
The image is from Pink Petticoat.

  Cute, ya?

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!  The sponsor of our challenge this week is none other than Digi Stamp Boutique, and the prize is 6 digital images of your choice! Yippee!!

I chose to use Morning Song, with a sentiment from John Lennon that I thought fit it.  The papers are from Stampin' Up, and then I added some blingity bling bling cuz that's just what I do.  This is such a cute little birdie, which I find I always seem to have a weakness for.

Don't forget to check out what the rest of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team divas have created, and join us this week.  I can't wait to see what you come up with and I love to check out all of your blogs.  Such wonderful talent out there, I can hardly stand it!

Peace & Luv,

Queen for a Day!!  This image is a freebie from A Day for Daisies and I printed it out 4 times I think, in order to layer it up.  This image is just one from the new set of fairy dresses just released by them.  The papers are from Stampin' Up and then there's just lots of Prisma glitter on the wings!  I am also entering this into the challenge at Pollycraft,
which is Sweet Pastel Colors.

  Reminds me of Cinderella!

Peace & Luv,
Hey there look at me posting on a Saturday!  I know it's been awhile, but I finally had a day to myself to join in on some challenges, yippee!!

The image is from The Doodle Pantry, the papers from CTMH.

I used the sketch from Cardabilities, and the colors from

I hope you're having a "tweet" day!!

Peace & Luv,

Hi there!  It's only 9:25pm here in Arizona on this beautiful Thursday night, and that means there's still time for me to say....Happy Friday-Eve...even though you may not be seeing this until Friday.

Today's card is for 2 Challenges:  The first being Tiddly Inks; which is called Refresh Me and it's to create an all white card. You are allowed to color your image but the rest of your card, embellishments, etc. must be white.  The image is one of Christy's at Tiddly Inks and I think this little gal is just perfect for that upcoming holiday of love that will be upon us real soon.  My question is this...why haven't I ever done this before?!!!  This was huge fun, and I need to try this with some other colors too.  Hint:  Don't be like me and eat nacho cheese Dorito's while you're trying to make this...I'm just sayin'.

The second challenge this is for is The Shabby Team Room, which is where I got this great sketch layout from.  What a beautiful blog Debbie has!  A great Design Team too, with lots of inspiration there.

Well that's it for me kiddos...I'm off to my comfy bed now.

Peace & Luv,

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!  This week's sponsor is and the prize is 4 digi's of the winner's choice! We've got another great sketch for you to work with that I'll think you'll enjoy.

I used CTMH's Hooligan's papers and a few stickers and although it's not pink or red, I still think it's a funny little Valentine.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations, and join us for the chance to be one of our lucky winners!

Peace & Luv,
I have a reduce, reuse and recycle project for you today!  I made it with one of my favorite color combos and one of my favorite papers that I've had around from My Mind's Eye's Bohemia line.  I used one of my best friends - the big scallop scissor - and some kraft paper too.  Then on top I added a ribbon bow, a polka dot daisy and a couple of buttons.  I also added some pearls around the center.

So here is what it was before, and thanks to the Girl Scouts I'll have a set of these real soon!

I celebrated a birthday over the weekend, and here's a pic of me and my guy having an awesome night out!

Peace & Luv,
It's Friday and that's a beautiful thing!  Just a simple little card for you today.  The center of the green is cut out with a nestie to basically frame the pretty and glittery paper underneath it from DCWV's Belle Papier Stack.  The polka dot flower matches the paper and a button and a bow seemed to finish it off just fine!

Peace & Luv,
What do I have for you today?........Just the Boss, and a card that was for "my boss"...hehe!  So when the guy you work for loves Springsteen, that's what you give him, right?!  Thanks to the internet, I printed out this pic of one of his greatest hits records, and hopefully I won't make anyone mad doing it!  Then I used the musical notes Stampin' Up rolling stampy-thingy, for the strip at the bottom.  I cut his message out with a circle nestie, and then put another black one behind it (textured) to make it look like a record and popped it up.  There's some grosgrain ribbon there for some texture and then of course I had to add a few silver studs.  Guess what?.....he really liked it!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!  The sponsor this week for our Sketch Challenge #83 is By Lori Designs.  This fun little image is just one of the many that are just as adorable as can be and if you haven't had the chance to check all of them out, well you should.
The winner this week will receive a 10.00 Gift Certificate!

I used some brown cardstock with some DCWV papers, cut out some butterflies with some shaped nesties and put some buttons in the centers.  The image is popped up and I also added some thin brown and white polka dot ribbon.

While I was at it and had this stack of paper out anyway, I needed another guy card for work, so this is what I made.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team Divas wonderful work on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog, and join us for the chance to win this week!

                                               Peace & Luv,

It's Monday evening and this card is based (a little loosely) on the Mojo Monday sketch this week.  The image is from SJ's Little Musings and her name is Hollie.  It was a freebie awhile back and came uncolored as well, but I decided to use the already colored in one today.  That isn't something I normally would have done in the past, but it's a new year and she's just adorable the way she is.  The base cardstock is Stampin' Up's Sage Shadow.  The other little tidbits are from DCWV; the Latte Stack and the Once Upon a Time Stack.

Peace & Luv,

Hi there!  I made some thank you cards here with some of the Stampin' Up colors of; Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, and Concord Crush.  I love that they have the patterned papers to match too!  The thank u stamp is from the Cute by the Inch set.  Lots of white layering and pop dots, and then a white flower punch with a bit of rhinestone bling in the center.

Much Peace & Luv to you in the New Year!
