Happy Twisted Thursday with Shirley's 2 Girls! This week the twist is a tribute to Mom's of all kinds, even if you only have fur-babies! I made this card for a friend of mine with a black boy kitty whose name is Lucky, isn't that cute? He's a great kitty and funny too.

What I used are CTMH papers from the Caboodle set, and they are great happy colors I think. The image is called Like a Book, and then the smaller Happy Mother's Day image I thought fit in perfectly, which is popped up. I used all kinds of different markers, whatever I had that looked like it would match. The flowers are a Sizzlit with some stickers in the centers that came with the paper set, and then I put some itty bitty rhinestones in the centers. The border below the image is also a sticker. I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop, and I knew I liked it as soon as I saw it.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Ladies with Attitude's cards, and join us this week to get the chance to win some of these fun images for yourself!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Our sponsor this week is Busy Beauties Boutique, which is where this special chicken soup image came from! I made something like this awhile ago, and decided to do another what with everybody sick with the spring bug that's going around. The winner of this week's Sketch Challenge, will get 3 images to choose from! How fun!

The papers I used are from 7 Gypsies, with some SU Night of Navy cardstock. There is also some Bazzil kraft cardstock behind that. I used a circle nestie and a large scallop punch, and just some random Mike's $1 bin ribbon, but I really like how it all turned out, and I hope you do too!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations, and join us this week! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Tuesday! I've just got a boy card for ya, but I used the Mojo Monday 136 Sketch for this week, which makes it a little bit exciting anyway I hope! The papers are all CTMH, from the Sweet Home set. Then I just used a border punch, 2 round nesties, and some blue twill ribbon. Can't get much easier than that, can it?!

Today it got into the 90's, which made for a hot drive home. My little bug has leather seats, so it takes awhile for the a/c to cool them off, and by then I'm home! It has heaters in the seats, which are awesome when it's chilly out in the mornings, and I keep saying I sure wish in the winter it had a/c in them...wouldn't that be cool? more ways than one...hehe!

Have I mentioned the new CTMH Summer catalog yet? Oh boy are there some fun new papers coming out! I think that you can view it online, and my CTMH gal can ship right to your home if you're interested in anything too, so let me know ya?! How about this as a teaser....think cherries!!

I hope your Tuesday turns out great, I appreciate you stopping by, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Monday, Monday, right? Well, here's some happy flowers for you! This is the other card that we made at our CTMH party on Saturday. The paper's are from the Bella paper pack, and the stamp is part of the April set of the month. We colored with some watercolor pencils and then used a blending pen. The image is popped up, as well as the pot, which we stamped and cut out separately. I also added some small lilac colored rhinestones to the centers of the flowers. I also really like the crocheted ribbon that we used to tie around the card!
The inside sentiment sez ~ Flowers whisper what words cannot say!

I hope your Monday is a good one, I appreciate you stopping in, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sunday! This card is one that we made together at our CTMH party yesterday. The papers are from the Veranda collection, and the stamp from the Friendship Blessing set. I haven't made a dahlia fold flower in awhile, so this was really fun to do. Then we just put a large rhinestone brad in the center, popped up the whole thing, and added 4 small rhinestones by the sentiment. Beautiful idea Ronah!

It's a beautiful day here in AZ, I've got lots of laundry to get done, and some shopping too. I cleaned out my closet this morning and have 4 bags of clothes to take to Goodwill. Gotta get rid of it some time.

I hope your Sunday will be beautiful too, no matter what it is you do, and I appreciate your "friendship"!

Peace & Luv,
Hi all and Happy Saturday! This card I made for Neal's son who turned 13! It's one of Mo's Digital Pencil Too images, that I love, and is always fun to color. Quen likes spy gear and things like that, so I thought this would be fun to do. We had a little family pizza party last nite and opened presents, and just had a fun nite together. I used some black and gray standard cardstock, with some SU cardstock; Creamy Caramel and Really Rust, with the same color markers. The main image is popped up, and the twill ribbon is from CTMH.

It's been a busy day, but fun. I had a hair appointment this morning, then a CTMH card party that was paired with a gold party. What that means is that we could bring in our old and unused gold jewelry to see what we could get for it. I didn't have much, but the things I did have I've been wanting to get rid of for awhile. I ended up getting $275 to my surprise, for things that have just been sitting around. Just think of the paper I can buy with that.....hehe....just kidding!

Tonite we had a light grilled lemon chicken dinner, and now we're all settling in with a movie. I hope your Saturday was great, thanks so much for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday with Shirley's 2 Girls!!

Spring has finally Sprung!!!!!

The S2G DT is ready to 'spring' one on ya.
With S2G having so many different Digital Stamps
that have the theme of "SPRING"...what better way
to show off the collection than for each of us to
share one of our favorites with you!

Our Twist for this Twisted Challenge is...FLOWERS!!
That's right...simple & easy! Use any color, any sketch, any image, & then add any kind of flower, anything with a flower will do!

What I used for my card today is SU's Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry cardstock. Most of the patterned papers from the Parisian Breeze specialty set, with a bit of some Rich Razzleberry designer paper. The doggie and the bee are both popped up, and I used a glitter pen on the bee. Of course I had to add flowers right? Well mine are from a small punch, with some special little gems in the centers of them.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Ladies With Attitude's creations and join us, I can't wait to see what "springs" up from you.....hehehe!

Thanks for visiting and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! One of our favorite sponsors is back this week...DigiStamp Boutique!!! This little lady is called Suzie, and she's just one of the many fun characters to choose from. I used all SU papers, from the Bella Birds set, and the cardstock is Chocolate Chip. I cut the image out using an oval nestie, and then cut around the flowers a bit so that they'd overlap. Then there's a circle nestie behind it, and they are both popped up. I added some white lace and some brown pearls, and there's even one in her hair!

Guess what DigiStamp Boutique will be giving away as the winner this week if you join us......10 DIGITAL IMAGES.....yes I said TEN!!! Be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team has come up with for more inspiration too!

Have a very sweet Wednesday, and thanks for coming by.

I need a recipe for a quick and easy cake to make for a potluck lunch on Thursday at work....any ideas?

Peace & Luv,
Hello world here's the song that we're singin'....COME ON GET HAPPY!!! I haven't gotten a lot of stamps these days because I'm hooked on digi's, but I do have a tiny obsession with birds. When I saw this set from SU, I knew I had to have it. The quail's that live here in AZ are just adorable, especially the babies, but they also remind me of partridges....which leads me to....The Patridge Family!! So today's card I thought would be perfect for a Monday cuz we all need that little nudge to get us going, right? The other thing I found out is that SU's Wild Wasabi paper is coming back. Well it just so happens I still have some, and matching ribbon too. I paired it up with some Baja Breeze, which thankfully is not going away! The papers are all actually from one 12x12 piece that I came across. It had 4 different pattern squares on one side, and then the back is the polka dots. I figured it was a lot of bang for my .89 cents, and it's from We R Memory Keepers, and this one is called Tiffany's. Pretty slick idea I have to say!

Well I had a really fun weekend. I met up with some high school friends, from ahem...30 years ago. One of the guys actually lives here, and only a couple of miles away too. The other came in from California, and then another from Milwaukee, which is where we all grew up. We talked and reminisced and we seemed to pick up right where we left off. It was great to see them, and they are planning a big reunion in Milwaukee in July. Not sure about that yet, but we'll see.

I snuck in a mani/pedi Saturday morning, so my toes have pretty flowers and jewels on them, and it makes me oh so happy! Neal and I went to the movies Saturday nite and saw Hot Tub Time Machine. I'm a John Cusack groupie, and the movie had it's moments, but I'd give it a B- all in all.

I hope your weekend was great, I appreciate you visiting, I've got a couple fun things cooked up for this week, so be sure to visit again and take care!

Travlin' along there's a song that we're singin'....COME ON GET HAPPY!!!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Saturday! I wish we'd get some April showers here in AZ! I just had to make a card for this sentiment, like I do every year. It's such a happy thing to say, isn't it?! Well this little guy was a Friday freebie awhile back from Bugaboo Stamps, and all of the papers, except for the black and white cardstock, are from DCWV's Green Stack. They are really thick papers and they are also all textured and shiny too. Makes for a nice heavy and rich look.

I had a really long week, working 13 hours both Wednesday and Thursday and I can't tell you how happy I am the weekend is here! I'm meeting a couple of high school guys later this afternoon that found me on facebook that were in the class ahead of me. One of them actually lives here, and not that far away, and the other is coming in from CA to visit. He works for NASA!! I have lots of questions for him! Nice to know a rocket scientist came out of our school!

I think I'm going to try and run down the road and get a pedicure, do a little errand running, and tonite is date nite with my honey, since we haven't seen too much of each other all week, and we're kid-free this weekend too.

I hope your weekend is fabulous, thanks so much for coming by, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday and welcome to another trip to Paris with Shirley's 2 girls!! Today we have an inspiration picture to work with. Since this new digital image already has the bike and the sunflowers in it, I was off to a good start. The papers, cardstock, markers, and metal flower with the brad are all SU. The ribbon is S2G's and the image is popped up.

If you haven't checked the new Paris release out yet, you love travel and France and all of S2G's special little critters, well today is the day to do it! If I haven't inspired you enough, check out what the rest of the Ladies With Attitude Design Team has created, and you'll be sure to order everything from this release!

The sketch that I used is from Taylored Expressions, turned on it's side, and I'm glad it worked out well for todays challenge.

Thanks so much for visiting, and it's Thursday already which is a very good thing right?! Take care of yourself!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! Our sponsor today is none other than Fresh Brewed Designs, which is where this sweet Birthday Angel came from. Isn't she cute? All of the papers that I used are from the DCWV Garden Party stack, the 3 circles were cut out using nesties, then I added a couple of flowers, a ribbon bow, and some rhinestones. I think she's ready for any little girl's birthday party!

Be absolutely sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team's creations are today, and join us to get the chance to win some of these Fresh Brewed Designs!

Have a great Wednesday, thanks for coming by, and take care!

Happy Tuesday Sunshine! Isn't this little gal adorable? I found her on My Grafico
where I've found several new things lately, and they have an awesome variety of things to choose from. The papers are all from SU's Delicate Dots set, which I think is retired, but I really like the spring/summer colors and thought they'd be perfect for the Mojo Monday Sketch too this week. The cardstock and marker colors are SU's Bashful Blue and Apricot Appeal. They I added some matching ribbon, cut out one of the flowers from the tan background to put on her hat and added a little stone in the center of it. The image is popped-up then too. I hope you like her!

Have a fabulous Tuesday, thanks so much for visiting, and take care!

It's Monday so let's pour some coffee and get moving, ya?!! This little doggie is sure to put a smile on your Monday face, and she's from Pink Petticoat. All of the papers are from SU's Raspberry Tart set, along with some lite green cardstock. I used a label and a circle nestie, along with a large scallop circle punch. Then I just added a big bow and some buttons threaded with some snippets of matching paper, and that's that. I couldn't decide on a sentiment to put on the outside, it came with "I miss your cuddles", but I think I chair-ish you may be better. Not sure yet, or I may keep it blank until it's time to use it and decide then. Do you do that too, or is that my lack of commitment issue coming out?.....hehe.

I've got a couple late nites at work coming up this week, so I know it'll be busy going in. I'm going to try and work ahead so that I don't miss a day here, but no promises. I hope your Monday is great, thanks for stopping by, and take care!

Happy Sunday!! Golf anyone? I was asked to make some cards for a raffle basket for a golf event at work, and so when I saw these images from Sassy Cheryl's, I knew they'd be perfect. Of course when you use Cheryl's images, you really don't need much more as they stand out on their own. They are so fun, and have so much detail, and it was even more fun to color them in too.

I have a house full of sneezing and blowing allergy filled heads here, and as much as I hated to turn the a/c on already we had no option. It's really been a bad year here for the junk that's flying around in the air, and I've never had allergies before, but they say the longer you live here, they sometimes get to you. This will be my 3rd summer and it's even gotten to me a little bit, especially my eyes. Besides every kind of skin cream out there, if anybody knows what to use for Neal's psoriasis/exzema skin, I'd appreciate it. What's weird is that it's the worst right now during allergy season. Right now he's trying some fish oil pills to see if he can fix it naturally from the inside.

I hope your weekend is good, I appreciate you stopping in to visit, and take care!

Happy Friday!!!!! We made it, ya?!!! This card is a CASE of a card that I found on SCS that I had in my favorites from over a year ago that Amy at Pickled Paper Designs made. She does some beautiful work, and I'm always inspired by her. The image is from DigiStamp Boutique and I printed it twice and cut out the flowers to pop them up on top of each other. The polka dot paper is SU's, not sure what set right now, the zebra stripe is from DCWV and I think the name of the stack is glamour something? Can you tell I'm not at home?....hehe. There's glitter in the center of the flowers, sorry it doesn't show up because it looks pretty cool, then there's some lace on the bottom, some little bitty pieces of ribbon and tiny buttons. It's very funky and fun, and I think I'll make some more to keep in my stash, or maybe sell on Etsy? Yes, I've been getting asked quite a bit about that, so I may try it for awhile and see how it goes. I'll keep you posted.

Well I hope your week was good, and that your weekend will be even better. I have no major plans, but we've got kids so my car will magically turn into a taxi. Funny how that happens!

Thanks for coming by, I appreciate it very much, and take care!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Our sponsor today is The Stamping Boutique! The image I used today is Audrey with Ladybugs, and I thought she was really cute in her little outfit and all. The base of the card is SU's Riding Hood Red, and the rest of the papers are pretty much scraps. I did cut the image out with a nestie, and there is also some glitter on the dotted lines where the ladybug is flying around her. The flowers are Close To My Heart and I used a tiny strip of the red paper to thread through the button to match. Then I added some ladybug brads that are from my good friend Carol Dee, and I thought they were the perfect touch!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's work, and join us to have the chance to win 3 digital images!

Have a very sweet Wednesday, thanks for visiting, and take care!
