Happy Sunday! Here is the last card they we made at our Stampin' Up par-tay. It's a tri-shutter card and when I initially made it, I left the inside blank because I wasn't sure what I wanted to put on the inside at the time. So I was looking through some of my digital images when I got home that I have and found this little guy from Pollycraft and I thought this would be fun idea. The papers we used are from the Sending Love set and the flower stamps in the center are from the With All My Heart set. It was like a puzzle putting it all together, and I love the results. It was kind of hard to get good pics of it, but I think you can get it from what I have here. Thanks again Jan!

We didn't get to the Renaissance Faire because of the weather, and today isn't any better so we're just hanging out and watching the last day of the Olympics and getting homework done. I've got some cards to finish up and plenty of things I want to get done today here at home, so it's just fine with me. It's actually kind of refreshing change to see rain here for awhile.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great Sunday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Saturday! If this doesn't get you feeling springtime, nothing will! This is another fun little thing we made at our last Stampin' Up par-tay, and it's filled with jelly belly's. The carton itself is a template, and then we just wrapped some paper and ribbon around it, added some of the new felt flowers they have and filled it up. For the little tags we stamped them first, and then used a little tag punch and tied them on to the ribbon with these cute little safety pins. The size of this picture may be deceiving, but the carton itself is only about 3 inches high. It's just as cute as can be, and would be so cute tucked into an Easter basket! Thanks again Jan - you're the best Stampin' Up rep eva!!!

I'm thinking spring, but it's actually a bit chilly and gloomy here in Arizona. We've got the kids and want to take them to the Renaissance Faire today, so I hope the sun comes out for a little while anyway.

I hope your Saturday is a good one, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Friday! Is this card gorgeous or what?! I can say that because although I made it, I didn't design it. This is just another design created by our groups Stampin' Up demonstrator Jan. She comes up with some fabulous stuff I tell ya, as you can see here. The cardstock colors are Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede and then the stamps are from the Vintage Vogue set, and we also used a wheel stamp called Very Vintage. Of course we had to have the matching ribbon on there too, and then we cut the flowers out and popped them up and put pearls in the centers. We also added the cutest little clip on the side of the smaller square too. All we all, the colors and stamps together on this card work so great together, and we all had fun making it. If you don't have a Stampin' Up rep in your area, let me know and I'd be happy to get you in touch with Jan.

I've got a couple more things to show you that we also made at our par-tay, but you'll just have to come back over the weekend and check them out, ok - ok!

I hope your Friday is a good one, thanks so much for stopping in, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hi there and Happy Twisted Thursday! Today with Shirley's 2 Girls we're all using this crown template, which you can also find on the challenge blog to play along with us...oh and don't forget the Twist this's to use HOT PINK. I kind of came up with this project at the last minute as a lot of the Design Team starting making their crowns big enough to put on their puppies and kitties. Well if you follow my blog at all, you know that my little girl is in Omaha with her daddy, and so in order to include my Dixie-girl in on the fun, I decided to decorate a framed picture of her. Everything I used today is Shirley's 2 Girls by the way, except for the flowers and rhinestones. So what I did was cover a wood frame with some of the new digital papers to go with the birthday set and printed the crown out on it too, then I popped it up and added a bunch of fun rhinestones. I also used some some ink around all of the edges of the frame to brighten it up a bit.

You really need to check out the rest of the design team's creativeness and their funny little critters today, it will surely brighten up your day!

Peace, Luv and Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's sponsor is My Grafico, and they have all kinds of fun things on their site from around the world, so do go by and check all of it out today! The winner of today's Sketch #38 Challenge will win the Zoom Vroom digital set, which is where the image I used today is from. Isn't it cute?!

I printed it out three times, once on some Grey Bazzil and cut out the rocket, then on white cardstock and cut out the puppy, colored it in, and popped it up, and then the third time on the DP.

All of the papers are from Close to My Heart, the Daydream set. I also used a large and mini star punch, and they are popped up too. I thought this was a cute sentiment that I found to go with this card, and I hope you like it too!

Make sure you check out what the rest of the Design Team has created with this set of images, then join us this week to be able to win it!

Thanks for coming by, I appreciate your comments very much, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hi there and Happy Monday! I found this Dragonfly card drive on Taylored Expressions blog, and so I thought I'd share it with you!

Here are some of the details taken from Taylor's blog:

The cards we gather will be donated to the Neonatal Intensive Care nurses where they use the dragonfly as a symbol of hope for families who have lost a child during delivery or in the early stages of life. Families are given a dragonfly card while they are in the hospital as something to hold on to, cherish, and comfort them after the quiet time spent with their son or daughter.

And now we need your help. Would you consider making and donating some cards that feature a dragonfly image? You may use stamps from any company - they do not need to be from Taylored Expressions. As a thank you for participating I will enter your name into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the TE Store.

More of the details can be found on Taylor's blog, so please join in this great cause!

The two cards that I made shown here are made with cardstock from SU; Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, and Kiwi Kiss. The large flowery stamp, that I stamped in Kiwi Kiss, is from Close to My Heart's - You've Got Flair set. The Dragonfly is a digital image from Hero Arts called Winged Friends that I colored in with the same color marker as the cardstock, and the ribbon is from Michael's.

Peace & Luv,

I get to make a get well card for Mr Bob Uecker......what?!! This is like the Kevin Bacon game and six degrees of seperation. 1. Where did I grow up - Milwaukee. 2. What is the Major League baseball team there - the Milwaukee Brewers. 3. Who is the announcer of the Brewer games - Mr Bob Uecker. 4. Where do I work now - B&G Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. 5. Who is one of their attendees at many of our sports events - Mr Bob Uecker! and 6. Who was asked to make a get well card for him - ME!!! Ok, so it's not exactly like the Kevin Bacon game, but still for me this is a great honor as he is a huge voice from my childhood, and I couldn't be more thrilled!

I was inspired by a card made by Michelle at Mish Mash, who has some of the greatest ideas out there, so I used some Brewers paper, as well as some baseball various words paper. The cardstock is SU's Creamy Caramel and Bordering Blue, and the stamps are from Lockhart. Then I just used some brown grosgrain ribbon and a couple of brads. I was so nervous making this, and I sure hope first of all that he feels better soon, and second of all that he likes his card!

I hope your Sunday is good, thanks for stopping by, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

It's Friday and it's a good day to "B" happy, especially for the winner chosen for her comment during the Shirley's 2 Girls Birthday Bash Blog Hop and her name is........Cheryl and her blog name is....She Stamps!!! Thanks so much for joining in on the fun Cheryl and send me your email address so that I can send you your free digital image! The card I made for today I was inspired to make from Dawn McVey, she has a very simple yet elegant style which is something I need to learn. The big "B" is from S2G's and the cardstocks are SU's Creamy Caramel, Taken with Teal and Baja Breeze. The striped DP is from Karen Foster. Other than that I used a large scallop scissor, added some fun green ribbon, and a couple of orange rhinestones and done.

I hope your Friday is a happy one, and that you are looking forward to your weekend. Thanks so much for coming by, and for all of your great comments. Take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Twisted Thursday!!!! We're still celebrating at Shirley's 2 Girls with this month's release of birthday images, but the twist this week is to make a fun Shaker Card with confetti! If you've never made one before click HERE to find a step by step tutorial on how to do it. It's a little tricky, but it's really fun to do and it's something different to give, especially for little kids. What's more fun than a gal popping out of a cake to work with? She's just having a good ol' time here and I also used some of the new digital papers while I was at it, since they all match just perfectly together! I used 2 of the deckled rectangle nesties, a flower punch, some ribbons and of course the fun doo-dads, as I call them, inside the shaker. I also put them in the middle of the flowers too. The twist is to use confetti, but as you'll see from the rest of the Design Team we all kinda used different things, from seed beads to glitter. So use whatever you have in your stash, be creative, and show us what you come up with!

Please be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team has done, and let them know you were there too, we all luv to hear from you!

Thanks for coming by, I appreciate you comments very much, and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday #37! Today's sponsor is DigiStamp Boutique, and aren't these little owl's just the cutest? I thought they'd be fun to work with for this Sketch Challenge, and I was right. The papers that I used are from Close to My Heart's Twitterpated set, together with some SU Creamy Caramel cardstock. I cut out the image using a circle nestie and it's popped up. Then I added a bow and some rhinestones.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team has done, and join us to be in the running to win $10 in digital images.

Have a very sweet day and thanks so much for visiting. Be sure to leave the rest of the Design Team and myself some luv before you go, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hi and Happy Tuesday! I just have a fun little card for you today that I got inspiration from a card that I found on splitcoaststampers . The papers that I used are from Close to My Heart, the Sweet Home collection, and the images are from Whimsie Doodles. I also used an oval nestie, markers to color in some of the trim, some flowers and then some little light blue pearls. There is also some Prisma glitter on the bow of the girl's underwear. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and I hope put a little smile on your Tuesday face!

Thanks so much for coming by, I appreciate your comments very much, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy President's Day! I decided to take the day off today, it wasn't a scheduled holiday off for me but since Neal and the kids were all off, I thought what the heck. What I didn't plan on was a splitting headache. I did manage to get this card done for the Mojo Monday Blog challenge #126 today so far which is a card for my niece and her new husband's new home. The image and sentiment are from Pink Petticoat and the papers are Close to My Heart's Veranda collection. The cardstocks are SU's So Saffron and Tempting Turquoise with some green Bazzil. I also personalized it with their names on the tab. On the inside it says; no matter what, no matter where, it's always home when love is there. There is also some Prisma glitter on the smoke coming out of the chimney. I'm happy with how it turned out, and especially the color combo.

I hope your Monday was a good one, whatever it is you did. I appreciate you visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Peace & Luv,
Happy Tuesday! I finally had some time to create a card for a challenge, and so I chose Mojo Monday's Sketch #125. It certainly had me challenged for a bit, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I used one of Shirley's 2 Girls new Mardi Gras Zola images, and since that is right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to work with. She's all colored in with markers, I distressed the edges with some purple ink, cut it out with a circle nestie, and popped it up. Of course the colors are always purple, green and yellow, so I did the best I could to work with them. The rest of the papers I used are also from S2G, except for the yellow, which is SU. Then I added some beautiful green ribbon and rhinestones. I think I may go back and put some glitter on those beads though!

I hope you have a great day, I appreciate you coming by, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Superbowl Sunday! This is just a fun little treat pouch that we made at one of our Close to My Heart parties that I thought I'd share. It was kind of tricky to weave together, but we all had fun making it. The papers are all CTMH, the pretty pink patterned paper is from the That's Amore paper packet, and the heart stamp is from the Priceless Love stamp set. The pretty goody bag behind it was made by one of our special hostesses. Gorgeous, ya?!

I hope you're having a fantastic weekend. We went to IKEA yesterday, so today will be a day of getting both of our computer areas more organized, and of course watching the Superbowl.

Have a great day, thanks for coming by, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
A Happy Friday quickie for you! This was a card we made at our last cardmaking get together that we had fun making. Ronah, our Close to My Heart enabler had these cute little mini heart pieces of cardstock ready to go, and then we just added the wording, stamped a heart and added some bling! The ink on the heart actually matches the cardstock, but the picture doesn't make it look that way, sorry about that. Anyway, it's very fun, and a very sweet valentine!

Thanks for coming by, have an awesome Friday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
