It's Sweet Sketch Wednesday time and the image sponsor this week is Squigglefly! Isn't this guy ca-ute?! He sure is ready to welcome in the New Year! He was brought to life by artist Cheryl Alger, who is indeed very talented. I colored him all in and popped him up on top of some My Mind's Eye DP, and some textured Bazzil. The cardstock is SU's Bordering Blue, and then I added some scraps of ribbon, and 3 bright and shiny stars! Be sure to go to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog, and check out the rest of the DT's cards, and join us to have a chance to win 3 images of your choice at Squigglefly. Have fun!

Hi there and Happy Monday nite or Tuesday, whenever you may be reading this! I've got a couple more boy cards (Frank and Franco, funny huh?) for you that were fun to put together! Trouble is, pictures don't show all of the true detail. But then, if you're a cardmaker too, you know what I mean. I think I'm getting the hang of these now, and basically it's just the simpler the better. They are pretty self explanatory, so I don't think I need to go into the details. I have so many ideas and things I want to make, but time is not on my side these days. I do enjoy the time that I do have to make what I can, and to share them with you.

It's pretty chilly for Arizona right now, and it was sort of a gloomy day, which is also unusual. Not sure if it's going to rain, but it sure does feel like it. Not to worry tho, because next week should be back in the 70's. Sorry to hear about all of the ice and snow happening in the east and the midwest, and I hope you're all hanging in there.

Make sure you do come back for Sweet Sketch Wednesday, because I made a fun New Year's card that I think you're going to like, and our sponsor this week is name, ya?!

Take care of yourself and thanks for coming by!

Peace & Luv,
Hey there and Happy Sunday!! Just a couple of boy cards for ya here today. We've been busy this weekend running around and today I took the Christmas stuff down because after visiting Ikea, I always get the itch to rearrange furniture. So we did just that and also found some new computer workstations there that Neal will be going to get this week, since he's got another week off of teaching. I'm just glad I won't be here for the building part, hehe!!

We also went to see It's Complicated, last nite with Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. It was really funny, but the funniest part was the reaction of the 2 older ladies sitting next to me. Their reaction to some of the stuff was hysterical! Speaking of movies, we also rented The Hangover Friday nite, and that was really, really funny!

Anyway, on to the explanation of the cards - the first one was made with some papers from the LaCreme stack, and then some textured Bazzil golden paper. I used a large label nestie, and then just added some black ribbon with a fun silver brad. I did use some black ink around the edges of the sentiment.

The second one was made with all SU papers; the blue is Not Quite Navy, and then some Creamy Caramel. The plaid paper is from a set I think could have been called Bella Bleu, but not quite sure. The star is a Close to My Heart stamp and then I added some ribbon, and a copper brad in the center of the star. Both of these look kinda country/cowboy to me, yeehaw!!

Well I hope you've enjoyed your long weekend, I appreciate you visiting and your comments. Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Merry Christmas!!!

Peace & much, much Luv to all of you!!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's sponsor is called Fresh Brewed and that is where this fun little image is from. I used all sorts of scrap papers from the same set by Kelly Panacci. The snowballs are also paper pieced, I colored in their boots and mittens, and put some Prisma glitter on the ear muffs and the tops of their mittens. You can't see much of it, but I used some fun glitter yarn behind them. Then I just tied on some fun bright pink polka dot ribbon. I hope you'll join us this week to be able to win some of these fun designs, and be sure to go by and check out the rest of the design teams creations too!

Thanks for stopping in and Rockin' and Rollin' with me today, and take care!

Peace and Luv,

Hey there everybody! Happy Sunday! How's it going? We're all staring to run for the finish line, and we've only got a few days left. I'm still making some cards for co-workers, but everything else that needs to be in the mail, that I could get done, is on it's way. I'm feeling pretty good, and I hope I haven't missed something. Well the cards that I made today were made with an awesome set of papers from Reminisce that I got on my trip to Iowa. Note to Carol Dee: Have you used yours yet? I think these came out pretty cute. The papers are actually shiny like, they're double sided, and really fun to work with. I've made these 5 so far, and I'll probably make a few more to have on hand. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

Anyway, the trees are from Pink Petticoat, the ribbon from Michael's, and the papers are all SU; Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Always Artichoke and Taken with Teal. I also used a small scallop scissor, some pop-dots, and then Prisma glitter on all of the trees.

Our tree is up, a small little cutie from Target for $19.99 and it smells marvelous. We let the kids run around crazy and decorate the house and the tree, and it's very festive to say the least! I even put some lights around my wrought iron dragonfly in the front of the house! Can't forget him, can we?

Thanks for coming by, I appreciate your comments very much, and take care. Just think, next week at this time we'll be getting ready to ring in the New Year!!! Woohoo!!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Friday-Eve and Twisted Thursday! Today at Shirley's 2 Girls, since everybody is busy, busy, busy this time of year there is no sketch challenge, they just want to see one of your holiday cards. Easy, ya? So here is one of mine with a S2G's stamp all colored in and sparkled up with some glitter. The cardstock is SU's Certainly Celery, and a bit of some deep red Bazzil. The striped DP is from Michael's and is one of their Recollections papers, and then I just used a scallop border punch and added some jute twine. Even though there is no sketch for this challenge, you can still be in the running to win some free stuff just by showing them one of your cards! So head on over and check it out!

Thanks for coming by, and I hope you're not stressing out too much right now. We crafters always seem to take on more than we can possibly try and get done around this time of year, but try and stay calm and I know you'll accomplish it! Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! How do you like Sophie all dressed up today in her winter's finest? This little gal is from DigiStamp Boutique and they are our sponsor today! They have the ca-ute-est stuff you have ever seen!! I used lots of blues; SU's Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze and Bermuda Bay with Rich Razzleberry cardstock and DP's. I colored some with the matching markers, and paper pieced her jacket. The fur on her hat and boots I did using a popcorn marker that you use a heat tool with to raise it up. The snowflakes and path I used some Prisma glitter on. Then the main image is pop-dotted, and I tied some pretty organdy ribbon on, that matches her scarf from Joann's.

I do hope you'll join us this week, and be sure to check out the rest of what the Design Team has cooked up! Just remember you have the chance to win some free images this week and I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for visiting and for all of your great comments. Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Tuesday! I'm sure glad I made board member's birthday cards this past weekend, because that's all I've got for you again today. This one is a girl card anyway. This digital image is from Sketching Stamper and it was a free image (back in July). Chris has some designs that are awesome and are very affordable too. You need to check out the Christmas Card Crisis image and also Pimp my Craft Room - they are fabulous and are on my own personal wish list, which happens to be growing rapidly everyday! The cardstocks that I used are SU's Baja Breeze (my fav), and Riding Hood Red. The DP is from My Mind's Eye. The image is colored in with markers and I put some tiny black rhinestones in the centers of the flowers. The sentiment is computer generated, and then I added some pretty blue rhinestones, for even more bling.

I hope your day is a good one, I appreciate you coming by, and don't forget that tomorrow is Sweet Sketch Wednesday. We've got another sponsor in line that's ready to give away some fun stuff to the winner of tomorrow's challenge, so be sure to stop in for all of the details! Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Hi there and Happy Monday to you! Boy card alert again! Who knew there would be so many birthdays for our board members at work in December?! You'll be seeing a lot of them because that is what I mostly worked on this weekend. This one is made with DCWV's La Creme stack of papers, I used a corner rounder, and then added some twill ribbon and some silver studs. Easy.

Well was your weekend as busy as mine?! I got some shopping done, cards made, laundry done, had my holiday party Saturday nite and watched football. I've got much more to do, but I'm happy with what I did accomplish. Tonite I've got to get some packages ready to mail out so they get there in time and, of course, get some more cards made.

Thanks for coming by, and I appreciate your comments very much. Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Saturday! I just realized I never posted this card that I made a week or so ago. The little lion is from Pink Petticoat and the DP's are from Sassafras, the Life is Beautiful set. The cardstocks are SU's Really Rust and Bashful Blue. I used a big circle nestie, a large round scallop punch, a couple of rhinestones, pop-dots, markers, and a pretty golden sheer ribbon.

I've got lots to accomplish this weekend, as I'm sure all of you do too, so fingers crossed that we get it all done, ya?!!

Thanks for coming by and leave me a comment to let me know that you're here!

Peace and Luv,

Hi there and Happy Friday to you! Guy card alert! I used the sketch challenge from Mojo Monday, and at first I didn't like how it turned out at all, but I guess it kinda grew on me. Not the greatest pic, as it's all dark browns, but I think you get the idea. I used all K&Company's papers, can't remember the stack they're from though, a circle nestie, some pop-dots and ribbon. The sentiment is computer generated, and I did use some SU Close to Cocoa ink around the edges of the papers.

So how has your week gone? Mine has been busy and I've had a little bit of a cold/sore throat/headache thing going on all week, so that hasn't been fun. Nothing major, or enough to stay home from work for, but it makes me tired. Can't seem to get enough sleep. I hope to get some rest in this weekend, although I have my work holiday party Saturday night. I just plan to pop in for a little bit. Other than that, I have lots of cards to get done and in the mail, and plan to just try to relax a bit.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it very much, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
It's Wednesday and that means it's Sweet Sketch Wednesday time! Today's sponsor is Bee Crafty and I absolutely luv their fun images, and this fluffy holiday bunny is no exception. Are you starting to feel like this bunny looks yet? The papers used are all from SU - the cardstock is Pretty in Pink and Rose Red and the DP's are from the Raspberry Tart set. I colored the image in with some markers, put some Stickles on the ornaments and then tied some silver string around with a bow. As always if you join us, you have the chance to win, and 3 digitals of your choice is what the prize is this week. If you need some inspiration you'll find it from the rest of the design team too.

I hope your Wednesday is as sweet as can be, thanks so much for visiting, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Merry Tuesday! Today I'll be showing you what we made on Saturday at the Close to My Heart par-tay we had. In addition to the calendar cube, we also made this fun card where we cut these presents out and pop-dotted 2 of them. Then we added some bling and it's as fun and as cute as can be! All Close to My Heart products and papers.

Next is.....the 2010 calendar cube.....!! If you stopped in yesterday, I had mentioned that this beauty took us 4 hours to make. It was hard to capture good pictures of it, but I tried so that I could share it with you. We first put together the 4 sides and the top and then tied them onto the box.

Whatcha think??!!! I can't wait to put a picture of my Dixie on the top and put it on my desk for 2010! Thank you, thank you, thank you Ronah for working so hard to put this together for us!

Thanks for visiting, have an awesome day, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Well this party girl is ready for her Monday even though we may not be, don'tcha think? The red version is a card that I made for our December card swap, and I had one extra image that I printed off and so I made a pink version too. The image is a Lola from Pink Petticoat that I colored in with some SU markers and some Copic markers, which I'm slowly getting used to. The DP's are from Monkeying Around, cute name huh? The ribbon is from Michael's and there are some Stickles around the top and bottom of her dress. We had our Holiday luncheon yesterday along with the card swap, and thank you so much to Luping for putting together such a fun afternoon!

I had a busy and crafty weekend. Saturday we made an awesome calendar cube with Close to My Heart products that I will have to take some pictures of this week to share with you. It took us 4 hours but it was all well worth it. Thanks so much Ronah for all of your hard work putting this project together for us and to Kim for being the hostess with the most-ess!

I hope your weekend was a good one, thanks so much for coming by, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday and....Friday Eve! Today's challenge is from Shirley's 2 Girls and so is this adorable stamp. If you haven't heard, they are going all digital in January and all of their stamps are 45% off right now (not including the current digitals). The twist on today's challenge is to use foil or tin, so I used some silver metal studs on their collars. Not sure if that works, but that was all I could really think of. I paper pieced the cat with SU's Close to Cocoa, and the dog with Creamy Caramel. The DP is from the Pattern Pack II collection and the red cardstock is Bazzil. Then I tied some pretty red and silver ribbon in a bow, and that was that.

I do hope that you've had a great week and are looking forward to a good weekend. Mine is going to be busy, busy, busy!! I have so much to do I'm freakin out a little bit. Thanks for visiting, I do appreciate it very much, and take care!
