Hi and Happy Tuesday! My card today, even tho it is Tuesday, is using the Mojo Monday 93 Sketch. All of the papers for this one are from Pink Petticoat. It's a whole set of different paper downloads and everything matches beautifully. I also used some SU Pretty in Pink, black and white cardstock. I used a small scallop scissor, some sheer ribbon and some rhinestones. The message is pop-dotted. I luv the colors and it just reminds me of summer.

I'm still car shopping, and working all of that out and it's all just really crazy stuff, that's for sure. Thank goodness I've got Neal to talk to all of these people, because I really don't have a whole lot of patience for all of it. He certainly is "one in a melon", hehehe.

I hope your week is going well and thanks for checking in.

Peace and Luv,
You are Bee-utiful!! And don't you forget it! I'm using some more stamps from Unity, the June kit of the month. The sketch is 365 Cards:Day120-Super Sketchy Sunday. The papers are from Sassafras, the Pocket Full of Rosies set. I also used a scrap of some light blue and some SU Creamy Caramel around the outside. The inks used are SU's Basic Black and Sky Blue. For the shapes, there is an oval and a label Nestie and also a small circle punch. There's some Close to My Heart flowers, a button, some rhinestones and also some orange crochet thread. Oh, and the bees wings have Stickles on them with Prisma glitter on top of that. It's very sparkly and pretty, just like my little great niece Tiffany, who this card is for.

We did leave the house for a little bit today, to look at some tiles that we are going to put into our little bathroom downstairs here. Did I tell you that I found a perfect and never used pedestal sink by the dumpsters? It was awhile back, but anyway we finally found someone to help with the plumbing part of it all and it looks like we may have it all done over the next week to 10 days I think. Very exciting!

I hope your weekend was good. Just keep in mind that this is a short work week, which will make Monday morning a little bit easier I think, yeah!!! Thanks for visiting, your comments always carry me thru to the next day of creativity and I appreciate them very much!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Saturday! I need to get a couple of holiday cards in the mail, so with today's sketch from Sketch Saturday #57 and a really, really old set of stamps from Close to My Heart, this is what I came up with. The cardstocks are SU's Riding Hood Red and Pacific Point. The little plaid paper is also SU - from the Parisian Breeze set, which unfortunately isn't in the new catalog anymore. I added some ric-rac and some Stickles to the fireworks which is hard to see but it is glittery, and that's about it. I like how it turned out and so, like I said, I need to make several to reach my out of state family.

I hope you're enjoying your day so far. I went early this morning to the grocery store and I hope I don't need to leave the house until Monday morning at this point! I've got some good creative mojo going that I don't want to lose right now, if ya know what I mean!

Take care and thanks for visiting!

Peace and Luv,
I held out long enough and finally gave in and ordered a Unity stamp set. Is this not the cutest little clothes line? This is just one of the stamps from the June kit of the month called - Perfect in every way. There are so many fun stamps, I just couldn't resist this one. The papers are SU's Bella Rose with some Chocolate Chip and white. I added a few pearls and some ribbon, and it's good to go. The layout is from Prairie Paper & Ink by Amy Rysavy and her sample is just the cutest darn thing you've ever seen, so go on over and give her some luv and join in on the challenge.

I'm soooooooo glad it's Friday, I can't even tell ya how much I'm looking forward to just hanging out at home this weekend. I think it'll probably be hot, so it's a good time to stay in and get caught up on paperwork and watch some recorded shows, and hang with my honey.

I plan on getting some card swap cards done this weekend, as well as some others, but I do plan on posting thru the weekend, so stop on back and "let's hang out". I do very much appreciate your comments, and luv to check out what you are doing too!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday! This is Shirley's 2 Girls Challenge S2GSC16 and I used one of S2G's stamps because, of course, I luv them all and the fact that they have lots of little furry animal images is just the icing on the cake. As usual I colored with some markers and then used two different sizes of Nesties. The papers are SU - the Designer Pattern papers in Kiwi Kiss, as well as some cardstock in Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango and white. I might have to re-think the bow on this one, I'm not sure I like it, but I like the rest of it.

It's late already and I need to get to bed. I'm pumped full of Starbucks from meeting up with the gals and going thru the new Stampin' Up catalog. I ordered some of the new papers already, and can't wait to get them.

I hope your Friday-Eve was a good one, I appreciate you stopping in and visiting and always appreciate your comments.

Peace and Luv,
Hey there! I'm combining 2 challenges today - 365 Cards:Day 115-Piece it together, and then I used the layout from CPS121. The Lola image is one of the latest and greatest from Pink Petticoat and I colored her in and then I paper pieced her dress, which is the challenge at 365 Cards. The papers I used are all SU - the Bella Birds collection, with Pretty in Pink, Almost Amethyst and white cardstock. The star is a stamp from Close to My Heart - the Wishing Star set, that I stamped in SU's Sky Blue ink, and then added a few details. I really enjoy paper piecing and need to remind myself to do more of it. I like the results and hope you do too.

There was absolutely nothing on tv tonite, that's for sure. At least nothing that I watch. We've got a few of our shows tivo'd, but Neal's at Boy Scouts tonite, so I just watched a movie. I'm finally feeling pretty good (fingers crossed) and hope it will continue tomorrow too.

Well thanks for stopping in, I'm hoping to get the new SU catalog in my hands over the next couple of days. I've been seeing some fun things from it, and I especially want some of the new cardstock colors, and the matching markers!

Peace and Luv,
Time flies! This is a stamp that I've had for a little bit, and finally decided to use it! It's from American Art Stamps and is called dragonfly watch. The sketch I used is from Mojo Monday and it's #92. The papers are from SU - the Bella Rose collection, together with some Creamy Caramel and ivory cardstock. I used a rectangle and a square Nestie, some markers and SU Riding Hood Red grosgrain ribbon with a couple of brads. The flowers are from Close to My Heart. Not sure that I'm really crazy about this one, but I do luv the stamp.

Just finished watching the Bachelorette, oy! This is a season that I probably could have done without. But like I always say - it's cheap entertainment!

I hope your day was good, and that your week will turn out to be a great one. Thanks for visiting, and for your comments!

Peace and Luv,
Hoppy wishes to you! Hehehe! In my stash of cards that I have at work, I have no "boy" cards, so I hope that this one fits into that category! Anyway, I used the layout from Sketch Saturday, Sketch #56 for this one. The DP is from Memory Boutqiue and the image is from Pink Petticoat that I colored with markers. The cardstocks are all SU from the Earth Elements collection, together with ivory. I used a scallop border punch and then the twill ribbon is from Close to My Heart. I think he's pretty cute, ya?!

Well it's Sunday nite and I've got to finish up some laundry and get to bed I guess. I hope you had a great weekend. I'm still not feeling 100% for whatever reason, but life goes on and so does the work week! I hope to hear what they want to do with my car over the next couple of days, and then I may have to go car shopping. It's one of the things I hate to do most is the game playing with car salesmen! Yuck!

Thanks for visiting and for all of the great comments. I always enjoy and look forward to them! Take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,

Hi there! Hope your Saturday is going good! Today's challenge at 365 Cards:Day 112 is Endless Love. It's supposed to be a wedding card, but I'm going for more of an all around love card today, so I hope I'm not being too much of a rebel! I used a sketch from a site that I happened to come across called Sweetie's Sketches for the layout. The image is a download from Pink Petticoat that I colored in with markers. The DP is from K&Company, with some lite blue, sunflower and ivory cardstocks. I used an oval and a label Nestie, added some ribbon and some rhinestones. Not overly crazy about the results, but at least I created something today.

It's triple digits here in AZ today, so I'm inside watching some movies and just trying to get caught up with emails and some around the house stuff.

I hope you're having a great weekend, thanks for stopping by, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Friday!! This card is for Sweet Sketch Wednesday, on Friday. This is the problem I have with working full time....I can't do the sketches on the day that the challenges are. Yes, I'm just that crazy! This is a new blog and so new that this is Sweet Sketch 2. Even tho some blogs post a sketch for the week, like this one, I always feel behind. Anyway, I used some Sassafrass papers together with some SU Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa and ivory cardstock. The image is from Pink Petticoat that I colored in with markers. The Flowers are Close to My Heart and then I added some sheer ribbon, a button and some rhinestones.

I hope this little birdie brightens up your day - at the least I hope it's "tweet"!

Peace and Luv,

Peace, Luv, and Happy Friday-Eve!
Here it is Wednesday already! How is your week going? I hope good! My card today is for the Mojo Monday sketch 91 this week, as you can see from the layout here to the right. I used SU's Bella Blue papers, with Close to Cocoa and ivory cardstock. The stamp set is from Close to My Heart, and is called With Love. I stamped the vase in SU's Blue Bayou, the flowers and the sentiment in Close to Cocoa. The ribbon I used is from Doodlebug Designs, the bon bon assortment. The velvet flowers are cut from one of those ribbons. I glued them down and then put some blue rhinestones in the centers. I punched out a tiny ivory heart, distressed it, and then pop-dotted it and put it in the middle of the vase. The oval was cut using a Nestie, and the dragonfly is a punch. I think that's about it. This came out to be an unusual size, so I'll have to make a homemade envelope to go with it, as well as fancy up the inside of it. This is a different layout for me to take on, but I like how it turned out.

I've got some catching up to do on cards. It seems like I'm falling behind already, so I hope to be able to get some creating done the next couple of evenings since we have the kids this weekend.

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting and I hope you know how much I appreciate your comments. I hope you're all doing well and taking care of yourself too! Have a happy day!

Peace and Luv,
Hey there and Happy Tuesday! This card is for a gal that I work with who just became grandma again to a baby boy. The challenge at 365 Cards:Day 108 is called-Oh Boy! It's to make a birthday card for a boy, and so this is sort of a brand new baby birth-day card, no? Maybe I'm stretching it a bit, but anyway....I used SU's Delicate Dots (I think that's what it's called) paper pack with some Brocade Blue and Mellow Moss cardstock. The image is from Pink Petticoat that I colored in with markers. Then I added some ribbons, brads, twine and a felt yellow star. So happy for them!

Well I had a CT scan done of my neck last nite to see if there was any further injury from the car accident last week. Four hours later there isn't any more damage, but I do have a cervical sprain. I'm having a reaction to the IV fluids they used for the test, and my stomach is going bonkers today. Needless to say I'm home. I was going to try and go in to work this afternoon, but my stomach just isn't cooperating. Yucko. I'm sure I'll be fine tomorrow, and back to my usual self, fingers crossed!

I hope your day is going great and that all is well in your corner of the world. I appreciate you visiting, and your comments. I really enjoy visiting all of your blogs and to see all of the great things that you come up with too, it's very inspiring for me. Thanks again for stopping in and take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,
Hi and Happy Monday!! Here we are again, at the beginning of another week! Yikes! These cards are the design brilliance of Stampin' Up demonstrator Jan. We had another make and take party on Saturday, and these 3 cards are what we made. Of course everything used is Stampin' Up. This first one uses the Just B set and the Parisian Breeze papers, with Baja Breeze and Chocolate chip cardstock.

This little ladybug card, that's just as quick and cute as can be, uses the Garden Whimsy stamp set. We just punched out some circles in Riding Hood Red and Black and it's perfect for just about anybody.

The third one is actually a CD holder inside. We used Raspberry Tart papers, one of my favs, and some of the gals really went to town decorating the inside. This would be perfect to send a bunch of pictures, or to make up a mix of songs for someone too. The possibilities are endless!

Of course we all had a great time with plenty of food and fun and laughs. Thanks so much to Brenda and her great hubby for their hospitality!

I hope you have a great day, thanks for stopping in, and take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,

Hey Cupcake and Happy Saturday to you!! It's Day 105 at 365 Cards:Sing Along Saturday and the inspiration song is Rainbow Connection. My choice for paper was pretty easy - Over the Rainbow from Sassafras, together with some SU Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip. The image is a download from Pink Petticoat, that I used markers to color it with and pop-dot it. Then the ribbon is also SU and I ticket corner punched the image and put 4 rhinestones, one in each corner.

Speaking of Stampin' Up, I've got to get ready to go to a party at a friends, so I'll be sure to post what we made tomorrow.

Also, I'll be posting the winner of the Dragonfly card contest tomorrow too, so stop by and see if you're the winner!

I hope your weekend is going well, mine didn't start off very good because on the way home from work last nite I was involved in a 3 car accident, in which I was in the middle of the 3. Needless to say, I got the worst of it and it totally stressed me out and I was a crying mess about it all. I was just thinking about trading it in too! I'm fine, everybody else is fine, and that's all that matters.

Have a great Saturday, thanks for stopping in, and take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday! It's Shirley's 2 Girls Sketch Challenge 14 - S2GSC14 - and also to use purple. The DP I used is from ATD the Wildflowers paper pad, together with some SU Orchid Opulence, and white. The stamp is from S2G's, and I cut it out using a Nestie, and added some rhinestones and ribbon. It's always fun to use their products! Do go and check out some of their new cute doggy images and join us on this challenge!

I know it's a late post today, but y'all know I'm working full time now, so I think this is going to be the only time of day/nite that I'm going to be able to post. Sorry about that, but it is what it is. I hope your week is going great, it's Thursday-Eve!!! That means we can all get thru just one more day of work and then it's the weekend!!

Thanks so much for visiting me, I really do appreciate it!
