Java Good Day ~

Would I miss the chance to enter a Coffee challenge?  I think not!  Especially when it's with my Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 gals!  Did you know that yesterday was International Coffee Day?

On top of that, they've got another one of my favorites as their sponsor; Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs of course, which is where this digital image is from.  If you love coffee, you need to go shopping here.

Peace Train ~

Friday, September 26, 2014

If you tuned in yesterday, you'll understand my reference to trains...and this is the best I could come up with was a train of birdies!  Of course I'm also listening to Cat Stevens this morning to wake me up too.  If you're a fan of his, you know the song Peace Train. Love!

It's Friday...I'm tired...I'm not sure I even like the colors I used here...and the glue isn't even dry yet on my bow :( but I've got to get my big butt in the shower, slap a smile on my face and finish out the work week!

Have a safe and awesome weekend, and I'll see ya Monday!!

Lifting Spirits ~

Thursday, September 25, 2014

I just realized yesterday I posted a card with a car on it, today it's a plane, so I wonder now if I have a train for tomorrow that I could make something with to round it all out...I'll have to think about that!

Anyway, I'm sharing with you today a stair-step card that we made at a CTMH party last Saturday.  I just love how it all turned out, and we had a great time making it.  Of course we all had to put our own spin on it too. Thanks to Ronah's creativeness, and to Shelly for being the hostess with the most-est!!

Happy Friday-Eve!

Let's Chat ~

Monday, September 22, 2014

I was thinking something bright to wake us all up on a Monday would be a good idea, so here you have it!

I brought out the pastel pencils today for her leggings and hair, mostly because I don't have a black ProMarker (what's up with that?) and her leggings just had to be black in my mind!  There is glitter around the trim of her top too, but I just can't get it to show up.  What a doll she is!

Thursday, September 18, 2014

We had a bit more rain here yesterday and of course some flash flooding to go with it.  Not nearly as much as last week, but everyone was sure on guard and a bit nervous about it too.  Umbrellas and raindrops are certainly on my mind, can you tell? :)

I never tire of looking at roses of any kind.  They are so magically beautiful and sweet, aren't they?  I played around stamping another embossing folder for the background on this one.  Too fun!

Today's card is for two challenges; the sketch is from Mojo Monday, but the inspiration comes from this photo at a new challenge that just started at - If You Give a Crafter a Cookie.  Fresh Brewed Designs is the sponsor, so of course I had to use my favorite FBD digital stamp.

Flirty Flamingo ~

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

Hi there!  No I haven't floated away in all of the rain here in Phoenix!  Yikes, what a crazy day it was yesterday.  If you watch the news I'm sure you saw the videos of cars floating down our highways.  Driving a Beetle was not in my favor, but all is well again for me.  I know others are still dealing with a bit of a mess and my heart goes out to them.  Please send some positive thoughts their way.

I figured a bird with a bit of water of some sort would be fitting considering, and Pink Petticoat has a new set so of course ya knew I had to get it!  Have an awesome day!
