Today's creation is called a Flip Flop Flap Card, and certainly a new fold for me!  It's different and unique, and with all of my layers, very heavy!  Thanks for the inspirational CD Maralyn!

Peace & Luv,

Just a little hello today and a unique layout too that I came across and thought I'd try.  Can't say I'm crazy about it, but it's kinda cute.  Next time I'd make the flowers smaller or something.  Not sure what it is that bugs me about it, but I hope you like it anyway!

Digital Image: Pink Petticoat
Papers: CTMH with some random kraft cardstock.
Other Stuff: Markers, twine, little tag punch, brads, jump ring, and pop dots.
My Favorite Thing:  The tiny hello tag!

Peace & Luv,

Well this was a mistake that I thought I'd try to use anyway.  Let me explain...you know how I'm always talking about how wonderful digital images are (and they are of course), and how you can size them up or down as you like right? Well how about printing on top of each other?  This was so not planned, and I bet I couldn't do it again if I tried.  I printed the giraffe out, and thought I had enough room to put the sentiment below it, but this is what I got.  So I went with it.  What do you think, does it work or not?

Digital Image: Pink Petticoat
Digital Sentiment: Create with TLC
Cardstock: Stampin' Up
Papers: Stampin' Up and KI/Color Therapy
Other Stuff: Markers, scallop scissor, corner rounder, ribbon and a button.
My Favorite Thing:  My mistake turned out pretty darn cute!

Peace & Luv,

If you can walk in these shoes, you are freakin' amazing right?!  They sure are pretty to look at though.  The colors for today's card were all taken from the piece of paper with the swirls on it.  They aren't colors I'd normally put together, but I do like how they compliment each other here!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch #111!!  It's our very special monthly sponsor DigiStamp Boutique helping us out this week again...yippee!

I'm using one of the Lil Poppets named Liddie, and I think she's just so sweet and beautiful.  One of the wonderful things about digital stamps is the ability to increase or decrease the size.  What I did here was enlarge the flower she's holding, then printed and cut out the 3 of them to match.  As you can also see, I popped the little red bird on the inside too for fun!

Be sure to check out all of the rest Design Team's wonderful creations on the SSW Blog, and join us for the chance to win 6 Digital Images of your choice!

Chairs!!  This is kinda girly even for me, but I do like the colors together.  This is a new stamp set from CTMH and I have a new rule...since I don't buy a whole lot of stamps anymore, if I do, before I put them on the shelf with the others, I need to make a card with it.  Since my workspace is small, and I don't like a lot of clutter, I figure I should stick to it...wish me luck!

Peace & Luv,

Keeping with tradition from last year, here are the same sweet words I posted then:

My country, 'tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrims' pride,
From every mountainside
Let freedom ring!

My native country, thee,
Land of the noble free,
Thy name I love;
I love thy rocks and rills,
Thy woods and templed hills;
My heart with rapture thrills,
Like that above.

Let music swell the breeze,
And ring from all the trees
Sweet freedom's song;
Let mortal tongues awake;
Let all that breathe partake;
Let rocks their silence break,
The sound prolong.

Our father's God to Thee,
Author of liberty,
To Thee we sing.
Long may our land be bright,
With freedom's holy light,
Protect us by Thy might,
Great God our King.

Happy 4th of July!!
Peace & Luv,
