Every flower that ever bloomed had to go through a whole lotta dirt to get there!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Our sponsor today is Bugaboo Stamps and this is Molly Moo in her garden. I included what is written inside, because I think it fits this image perfectly, I just couldn't get a good pic of it. This is another color combination that I don't think I've done before, which I'm trying to do more of. The cardstock is SU's Brilliant Blue, and the DP's are from DCWV's Garden Stack. The image is cut out using an oval nestie and popped up. Then I added some flowers and brads and some jute twine bows. Fun!

The rest of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team has, of course, come up with some awesome creations done with this weeks sketch. Be sure to check them all out and join us for the chance to win 7 digi stamps that value $21. Holy Molly Moo that's a lot!!

Thanks for dropping by, have a very sweet Wednesday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hey there and Happy Tuesday! Today's creation is for the challenge over at Taylored Expressions. The image is from Pink Petticoat, as well as the sentiment. The DP's are from SU's Bella Rose set, along with some Red Riding Hood cardstock, and also black, gray and white. Then after coloring her in with markers, I used a scallop scissor for the bottom and added a bit of ribbon, and also a few rhinestones, for some bling. My card turned out much "skinnier" than the sketch, but I think it still works. I don't think I've ever used this combination of colors before, but I like it. Sorry for the not so clear pic today, my camera is having a little hissy fit lately.

I hope things are all good in your part of the world, I appreciate you stopping by and checking in, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Monday! Today I've got a bookmark for you that I made for a Meljen's Designs challenge. I'm using one of her images too, called Bulldogs Bear, and I thought it would work perfectly for this. The cardstocks used are SU's Creamy Caramel, So Saffron and Bashful Blue. I used a border punch with the moon and stars, and then added some pink ric-rac and a big pink button with a white crochet thread bow. The bulldog is popped up. This was very fun to make and I hope you like it too!

Thanks so much for coming by, I hope your Monday is a good one, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sunday and here's some big puppy hugs for you! This is a stamp set from My Favorite Things that I just love. The DP's are from DCWV's Summer Dream set, and the cardstocks are SU's Mellow Moss and Ballet Blue. The main image is popped up, and then I added some random ribbon from my stash, punched a flower out in the Ballet Blue and added a button with a crochet thread bow. I also finished off the inside with another stamp and sentiment from this same set. The sketch that I followed is from The Sweet Stop and it was really fun to work with.

Thanks for stopping by, I did find some funky fabric for my windows at JoAnn's yesterday, so we'll see how the old machine cooperates today.

I've got some cards to get done today for some things coming up, so I'll be sure to share them with you this week. I've got so many new digital images that I want to play with that it makes my ever growing list of things to do even longer!

I hope you're having a great weekend, thanks so much for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Saturday! This card is for my wonderful Iowa blogger friend Carol Dee who sent me a summer surprise box. You truly are "one in a melon" girlfriend and I appreciate you so very much!

The images and DP's are all digital and from Pink Petticoat. The cardstock's are SU's Pixie Pink and Certainly Celery with some black too. Then I added some wide grosgrain ribbon in the center and 4 rhinestones.

I'm on the hunt today for some curtains, but I think I've pretty much exhausted every store around here and can't find what I want. So I'm going to have to drag out the old Singer sewing machine and see if I can find some fabric. It seems I always end up making my own no matter where I live, I just thought this time I could find something and hang it up and be done with it, ya know?! I just don't want to settle on something that's just ok, when they're way too expensive to begin with.

I hope your Saturday is good, it's hotter than h-e-double hockey sticks here! Please send some rain! Take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Friday!! I've got for you today what I call a ransom lyric frame. Basically what I did was take the definition of Imagine and create my own sheet of paper with it, traced the frame around it and the center and cut it out. Then I mod podged it onto the wooden frame and I sponged around it with some blue ink. I printed out some of the lyrics in a font called ransom and cut each word out and popped them up on top of the frame. I put a pic of John Lennon inside, and then just added the peace charm with some white twine. This is my favorite Lennon song, as I'm sure it is for many. Let me know what you think!

Thanks for coming by, I hope your week was good and that you're ready for another great weekend! Take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday with Shirley's 2 Girls! This week's TWIST to finish off this month of Brides & Babies is SOMETHING NEW, and we all have that - right?! I used 2 nesties to enhance this pretty dove sentiment, and also some pearls and sheer ribbon. I printed the image again, and cut out the doves to color them in to match the cardstock, which is SU's Tempting Turquoise, and then they are popped up.

Today is my last Twisted Thursday with Shirley's 2 Girls to finish out my 6 months on their Ladie's With Attitude Design Team. It's been fun, and I appreciate their generosity very much.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the current Design Team has created, and join us to win some fabulous images of your own!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's sponsor of Sketch #55 is Shirley's 2 Girls! This image is called Summer, and it comes with 3 different sentiments. Oh to be on that beach, ya?! The DP that I used are actually double-sided and textured cardstock from Crate Paper, the Carnival Collection. The lemon wedge stamp is from SU; the Tart & Tangy set. Then, besides coloring in the image, I added some of the white ric-rac just for something different. I actually really like this card, and I think I'll keep in for myself on my desk for awhile!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the marvelously sweet Design Team has created, and welcome some of the newbies. You're sure to be inspired to join us when you do. The prize this week is a $10 gift certificate to Shirley's 2 Girls!

I know some of you have gotten lots of rain, so please send some to hot and dry Arizona, we sure could use it! I can't even remember the last time it rained here.

I do hope that you have an extra sweet Wednesday today, I appreciate you visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Tuesday! Hey girlfriend - I've got just a quickie of a card for you today - but it's pretty! Pretty in Pink as they say. This image is from Pink Petticoat, the DP is from CTMH's That's Amore set. Then I just used a scallop scissor on some of the black cardstock to add a little fun, and added a bit of sheer ribbon and a rhinestone brad. Now how simple is that I tell ya?!

I do hope your week is starting out good and that things are fine and dandy wherever you are! I appreciate you visiting, and love to hear your comments. Take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Monday....beep beep beep beep - which means happy birthday to you, in robot speak...hehehe! Isn't this little guy a cutie? He is from Tiddly Inks, and he's a freebie too! And guess what else....he was already colored in! The challenge is to use one of the robot images this week, and they have some really fun ones. I'm entering 2 challenges today, using The Sweet Stop's sketch (which I rotated), and the spin this week with them is to decorate the inside of the card. I always do, I just never show them here, so I made an exception today in order to be eligible for the challenge. The DP I used is from Crate Paper, the Orbit Collection, and I used both sides of it. Then all of the cardstock is from SU; Bordering Blue, Ruby Red and a bit of Crushed Curry for the stars, with some textured gray Bazzil. The brads I bought awhile ago from a neighborhood scrapbook shop, and the star on the front is popped up.

I had a good weekend, never long enough, but always good. I wish I could stay home and create some more, since I feel like my mojo is working for me, but I guess that's not in the "cards" today....now that was funny!!!

Have an awesome day, a great first day of summer, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sunday and Happy Dad's day to all of the papa's out there! Neal went fishing with the kids so that'll be their day full of sun and fun!

Today's card uses a sketch from Unscripted Sketches. All of the papers are from CTMH; the Topstitch set. The stamp is from SU; the Puns from the Past set. Then I added a pretty sheer ribbon, 3 flowers stacked on top of each other, and a button in the middle. The stamped image is popped up. Another great sketch to work with!

As usual for the weekend, I've got laundry to do and some errands to run, so I'd best get to it! Thanks so much for coming by, I appreciate your comments very much, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Saturday!! I hope you're having a good weekend so far! I had breakfast with the girls and did some shopping and picked up part of my Stampin' Up order that was backordered, and saw some special surprises in my bag, which is not unusual, from my wonderful SU rep! So this card is for her as a thanks so "flippin' much" Jan for all that you do!

The sketch that I used today is from Card Patterns and the papers are, of course, from SU - the Cottage Wall set, with some Rich Razzleberry and Certainly Celery cardstock. The image is a freebie....oh ya baby I said freebie....and it's from Pamela's Gallery. There's glitter in the center of the flip's, and then itty bitty rhinestones in the centers of all of the flowers, which are from Mike's. I couldn't get really good pics today for some reason, sorry about that, but it is fun and a little sparkly and I hope she likes it!

Thanks for stoppin' in, have a great weekend, and take care!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's sponsor for Sketch 54 is KLM Designs, who not only have digital images but clear polymer stamps as well. This doorway image I thought would make a great new home card, and so that's just what I did! The papers are from SU's Bella Birds set, with some Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa cardstock. Then I added some ribbon, and one of my own homemade flowers with a yellow brad in the center. This image could also be used as a welcome home or a welcome to the neighborhood card too!

Since they are so nice at KLM, they have also given everyone a great little freebie just for fun named Weeder....isn't she cute? Happy Tuesday! Is it ever a bad time to not think chocolate....I don't think so! Today's card certainly celebrates it with some papers from Cookbookin' that is meant to be used to scrapbook recipes. I just liked it because it had to do with chocolate and it was cute too! I used a Pink Petticoat image, and also SU's cardstocks; Creamy Caramel and Pretty in Pink. Then I just added some yummy chocolate ribbon, and some pretty pink rhinestones!

Thanks for visiting, have an awesome Tuesday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Monday! Well here is this year's version of last year's card. This is my favorite summertime stamp, and it's from Mike's $1 bin probably 2 years ago or so. The papers are from CTMH's Miracle kit, I popped up the image and then added some rhinestones in the centers of the flip-flops and a tan grosgrain ribbon. I think the papers are very sandy and beachy and I'm ready for my fruity cocktail drink! It'll get me through my Monday anyway and I hope it gets you through yours too!

Thanks so much for visiting, have a great day, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sunday! This is one of my favorite Penny Black stamps! What a cutie, isn't he? Well the DP's are from DCWV's Cafe Mediterranean stack and they are glossy, which doesn't show up here, but they do add some fun. The cardstocks used are SU's Old Olive and Creamy Caramel. Well, from there I used a scalloped scissor, added some faux stitching, a nestie folded in half for the tab top, and a little sizzlit die cut for the friends tag. There's 5 silver brads, some rhinestones, and then I put a bright and fun sheer orange bow on and tied a butterfly charm onto it. The main image is popped up.

The weather is gorgeous here and I am going to enjoy every minute of it! I hope your weekend is beautiful too, thanks for visiting, and take care!
