Owl's it going? It's Mojo Monday #102, and I thought I'd use these owl and branch stamps from Unity. They are colored in with markers, the owl is in a circle nestie with a scallop circle behind that. The DP's are from Pink Paislee, the cardstock is SU's Rose Red and Brocade Blue. Then I added some lace, 3 buttons and some sheer pink ribbon.

It's still a bit on the hot side here in AZ, in the 100's. It's supposed to rain maybe at the end of the week, which hopefully will bring some lower temps with it. I'm ready now for some coolness, and what AZ calls Fall. As I write this, it's actually thundering out right now! Where did that come from? Scared the crap outta me, hehehe....

I hope your Monday went well, I guess I should get some other things done here yet tonite. Thanks for visiting and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Paint the town RED!! Happy Twisted Thursday! At Shirley's 2 Girls, today's Twisted Thursday sketch 23 twist is to use red. Well I think I completed that mission, and with one of my favorite Shirley's stamps called Schnapp's Close-Up. It's all colored in with markers, has a round scallop circle behind it with some black blingy stickers all around it, and then pop-dotted. The DP is from DCWV's Green Stack. The other cardstock is SU's Riding Hood Red, black and white. I also used a little bit of chalk around the scallop circle to match Schnapp's a little bit. Always fun stuff going at the Girls' blog, so check out all of the new stuff they have, and join in on the fun this week and you could win one of their adorable stamps!

It's Friday-Eve and that makes me so happy! We have the kids this weekend, but it sounds like they're all sick and Neal isn't feeling well either. Darn it! So it'll be a whole lot of chillin' out and taking it easy for them. I have a cardmaking par-tay to attend on Saturday afternoon that I'm so looking forward to, and to seeing all of the gals. It's been awhile since we've been able to get together, and I think everybody is now back from all of their vacations.

Thanks so much for visiting and for commenting on my schtuff!! I continue to be amazed by all of the wonderful people that I meet along the way here in blogland and enjoy so much seeing what y'all create too!

Take care and make some plans to paint the town red this weekend, or how about buy a pair of red shoes?!! That's my plan!!

Peace and Luv,

Hi there and happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! Today's challenge is also a fun color challenge!

What great colors they were to work! I decided to make my niece Traci in Texas an engagement card. The image is from Pink Petticoat, that I colored in with markers. The DP is from Sassafras, and she's pop-dotted. The cardstocks, and the color challenge colors are Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Real Red, & Only Orange. Then I used a small Fiskars scallop scissor to cut out the little strip of red and added 3 "diamonds" The ring, as well as the bottom of her dress and the flowers all have Prisma glitter on them, for more added bling. Just another fun challenge to work with, so do join us this week, won't you? Hop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to check out what the rest of the design team came up with, you'll be amazed!

Take care and have a very Sweet Wednesday!!!

Peace and Luv,
Hey there and Happy Tuesday! Just a quick throw together tonite is about all I had time for, sorry about that. The image is a Pink Petticoat download and then the DP's are from Basic Grey, the lemonade paper pad. I also cut out a label nestie with another paper from the same set. The cardstocks are SU's Rose Red and Cameo Coral. Then I just trimmed out some of the ivory with a small Fiskars scissor, added some pearl stickies, pop-dotted the center, and added a fun yellow bow. I do like these Basic Grey papers, and the little ladybug is very fun too!

I hope your day was a good one, I've gotta run, but wanted to get this posted quickly for you. Thanks for coming by and bug me anytime!!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Monday! It's Sketch #101 over on the Mojo Monday blog and so here's my creation that I had some fun with. Now wouldn't it be boring if I followed the sketch exactly? You know me better than that! I think I'd be disappointed in myself if I did! Anyway, I kinda started with the the basic sketch, but then I added a whole lotta stuff to it. The image is from Pink Petticoat, colored with markers and cut out with a circle nestie, with a large scallop circle behind that. The papers, including the DP, are all SU; Kiwi Kiss paper patterns, with cardstock in Old Olive and Crushed Curry. The flowers are Close to My Heart with some rhinestones in the centers of them, and then I added a pretty sheer ribbon bow. Oh, and there's a bit of Rich Razzleberry cardstock in there too for a little bit of fun. She's a pretty fancy and fun giraffe (even if she doesn't have a top on, hehe), and I hope you like her.

It's getting to be late already, so I should wrap things up and clean up my little workstation here and get to bed. I appreciate you visiting, luv your comments, and I'll see you NECKS time, hehehehe....nite!

Peace and Luv,
A pocket full of posies for you! This card is for 365 Cards:Day 176 Super Sketchy Sunday. The stamps are all Unity, the July kit. The papers are all SU; Parisian Breeze DP and the cardstocks are Rose Red, Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip. I used markers and some ColorBox chalks, 2 small red brads, 4 rhinestones and some white twine. The heart is a sizzlit die cut and it's pop-dotted. A fun and funky little card for ya here today!

I'm watching some pre-season Packer football right now, and they look good. I'm glad football is back, and I'm ready for the regular season. I do have to address the fact that I'm disappointed about Brett's signing with Minnesota, but I hope he's doing what's best for him right now. It's just hard to not see him in the green and gold.

I hope your weekend is going along good, we're just hanging out for the rest of the day and nite and relaxing before another work week starts again. Thanks for coming by and your great comments and take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,

It's still Friday as I start to write this post, so right now it's 11:56pm. Here's my card today for Amy's Friday Sketch #6 at Prairie Paper & Ink. This cutie is a new image, and it's from Pink Petticoat. I colored her in with markers and also used some chalk in her hair. Her shoes have pink Stickles on them, as well as some Prisma glitter on top of that to make them really sparkle. The DP is from Basic Grey, the Lemonade paper pad. The cardstocks are SU's Rose Red and Pretty in Pink. Then I just added some ribbon and rhinestones and pop-dotted the sentiment. I guess I'm still in shopping mode from yesterday's card, thinking about a new pair of shoes! Anyway, I hope you like her!

Neal and I were both so wiped out from the long week that we fell asleep for a couple of hours today right after work, so now we're up late. We're just hanging out and catching up on some shows we had tivo'd and who knows how long we'll be up at this point.

I just have to mention how much I appreciate you visiting and your great comments. They really do keep me going, and I'm glad that I can brighten up your day a little bit, and put a smile on your face. In other words, it makes me happy to make you happy, and that's what this blog is all about!

Well it's now 12:05am, so Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is good, and that you get some good relaxation in and make some special time for yourself and maybe........go shoe shopping, hehe!!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday! It's Shirley's 2 Girls sketch challenge #22, and the twist is Punch It! That means that you need to use a punch somewhere on the card. Well, my sentiment box is actually 3 punches, 2 straight squares, one about 1/4 inch bigger than the other with a scallop square in between them. The cute little puppy stamp is also Shirley's, and just as cute as can be, that I colored in with SU markers. All of the papers and cardstock are Stampin' Up. The DP's are from the Thoroughly Modern set, and the cardstocks are Rose Red and Taken with Teal. Then I just added 3 rhinestones and a polka dot ribbon bow and this puppy is ready to go shopping!!

I'm so happy it's Friday Eve and I'm ready for the weekend to be here! I hope your week has been a good one, thanks for visiting and for all of your great comments! Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Here's some sunshine to brighten up your Wednesday! It's Sweet Sketch Wednesday #11, and I used some Unity stamps for this one, from the July set. The papers are from Sassafras with some of SU's cardstocks in Tempting Turquoise and Summer Sun. I used some Color Box chalks to brighten up the edges, pop-dotted the sentiment, and then added some rhinestones to the clouds, and a white twine bow. This is great sketch to work with and could be used for just about any occasion. Of course my fellow DT members always come up with the best stuff, so go on over and check them all out and join in on the fun, I'd luv to see what you come up with! There is also a challenge going on this week at Rosie-Dee's Week 48-Sun, so I think I'll send this card over to her too. This card I think is very bright and fun and I hope it adds a little bit of sunshine to your day!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Mojo Monday and this is for Mojo Turns 100-Day 1. Another great sketch to follow, unfortunately not a great card for ya today, sorry. I think my mojo is on a break or something. I didn't like anything I made yesterday, and I really don't like this one. I was really happy with everything I've done over the last couple of weeks, so I guess I should be happy about that, but I'm not sure what happened. Anyway, the polka dot paper is from DCWV's Retro stack, and then the cardstocks are SU's Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa and Creamy Caramel. The image is Pink Petticoat, with a circle nestie behind it and then an extra large scallop circle behind that. I added a Kaiser flower, on top of a border punched piece of white cardstock and then added a die cut heart and a brown ribbon (I know it looks black). It is a great sketch to work with, and there are some great ideas over on the blog.

I've been chatting with some old high school classmates lately catching up on what's been happening in our lives, so that's very interesting. We're going to try and get a reunion together, but I'm not sure how many we'll get. It seems everybody has scattered and it sure is hard to track them down.

I want to say thank you to Alicia at Time to Create for this cute little award! She is so cute, ya?! I luv it!! I hope your Monday was good, this award certainly was fun to get today, and I appreciate you stopping in. Thanks so much for the great comments and take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,

Another catch up challenge card, this being Amy R's Friday sketch challenge #73 at Prairie Paper & Ink. The digital image is from DigiStamp Boutique and her name is Ruby. I colored her in with markers and then cut it out with a circle nestie and it's pop-dotted. The papers are from SU's Delicate Dots set, with some Close to Cocoa cardstock and then I just added 3 flower rhinestones and put a little grosgrain blue ribbon on it. One cute chick indeed and I hope you like her!

Well it's 8pm and the weekend sure went by too fast, as usual. I hope yours was good and I very much appreciate you stopping in and leaving comments for me. Have a great evening!

Peace and Luv,

I'm playing a little catch-up of challenges, this being Shirley's 2 Girls Twisted Thursday challenge #21 and the twist was to use 4 brads. First I used one of Shirley's 2 Girls stamps, the coffee pot, and made my own paper with it and then colored the images in. Then I stamped the sentiment seperately and used a circle nestie and also a black label nestie and then I pop-dotted it. The papers and flowers are all from Close to My Heart, and then of course I added the 4 black brads, along rhinestones in the centers of the flowers. The ribbon I just recently got from a scrapbook store.

I hope your Sunday is going along good. I've got some running to do now, but may be back later!

Peace and Luv,
Hi and Happy Saturday to you!! Wouldn't it be cool if it could really rain cupcakes? I colored them in the way I'd like them, chocolate cupcake with pink frosting and sprinkles. This is another awesome digital image from Hambo Stamps that I had to have and I do hope they make more because they are too fun! It is colored in with markers and pop-dotted with an oval nestie behind it. This card is made using the challenge from Sketch Saturday #64. The papers are from DCWV's Garden Party stack, the flowers from Close to My Heart, and then I just added a few rhinestones. Fun!

Well thank goodness I have a guy who can fix computers! It took most of the day to get it going, but I'm back in action now! Thanks again to my cute BF!!!

I hope your Saturday is going good, and that you're enjoying your weekend. Thanks so much for stopping in and visiting and for your great comments. Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday #10! For todays card I used a Dustin Pike digital image (psst....it was free and he has free stuff every Wednesday!), and as soon as I saw it I thought of this sentiment to go with it. All the papers are from SU, the DP's are from the Bella Bleu set, and then the cardstocks are Creamy Caramel, Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal and Summer Sun. I colored the image in with markers and then cut it out and pop-dotted it, as well as the diamond underneath it. I used a large and a small star punch and then put some glitter stickers in the centers and the stars too are pop-dotted. Then I just tied a little snippet of ribbon onto the bottom. This is another awesome sketch that Arlana came up with, and it's soooooo much fun to work with, you really should join in on the sweet, sweet fun with the rest of us!

I hope your week is going well, we're actually supposed to get some rain here in the hot southwest, and man oh man will it be a welcome sight! Thanks for visiting me, if it's your first time or a frequent flyer, I enjoy all of your comments so very much!

Peace and Luv,
Hello Gorgeous! It's another Tuesday Morning Sketches day, and it's #6 already. I turned the sketch sideways, kinda usual for me, and used a House Mouse stamp called Gorgeous Guinea. I colored with markers and also a white Signo pen on the guinea. The DP's are from DCWV's Garden Party stack, with some SU Wild Wasabi. The flowers are from Close to My Heart with some rhinestones in the centers. The image as well as the heart are pop-dotted and then I just added a sheer ribbon and more rhinestones to the heart. I probably should have went with a bigger card base so I had more room to work, but I kinda like how it turned out I guess.

I hope your Tuesday went well, and that everything is good in your corner of the world wherever you are. Thanks so much for stopping in and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Hey all you love bugs out there - Happy Mojo Monday #99! As some of you know I got a red beetle like this one last month, and so this stamp and sentiment are right up my alley. They are from Close to My Heart and the set also includes some ladybugs, but I didn't think I had room to add them this time around. The DP's are SU's Bella Rose and the cardstocks are Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip. They I just added some Riding Hood Red ribbon and some rhinestones. I've gotten a few beetle stamps lately, and I can't wait to use them! This was really a great sketch to work with today, and there are some great inspirational samples that the DT made over the the Mojo Monday blog.

Speaking of my beetle, I finally got the registration and license taken care of this morning. Yes, I was at the DMV first thing on a Monday morning! Don't I know how to start out the week fun, huh?! I'm glad it's finally taken care of!

I hope your day was good, I appreciate you checking in, and I have such fun reading your comments! Thank you so much!

Peace and Luv,
I hope your Sunday is a good one today. As for me, I'm just getting some cards done and doing laundry and listening to some music. I've got to run out later on for some things, but that's about it. Today's card is a sketch from 365 Cards:Day 162 - Super Sketchy Sunday. I bought this cute little bathing suit paper a couple of weeks ago and it's from Piggy Tales. This ribbon is from Michael's, and the cardstock is SU's Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red and Barely Banana. Then I just added a couple of black brads and it's a quick and simple sketch to follow today. It's such fun to see what everyone comes up with and how they are inspired, so do go over to Pam's blog, check them out, and join in. Winning stuff is also fun! As for the saying that I put on this card, I think we can all relate to trying on bathing suits! Yuko!!
