Today's post is dedicated to Neal's sister Lori. The following was written by Lynn, another sister and best friend to Lori:

On Thursday, March 5th 2009 at 1:15am we lost our beloved big sister when Lori Ann Johnson succumbed to the effects of cancer. She was 54. Many will remark that she left us far too young - you will get no argument on this end. But she lived life her way and in the fullest possible means, and isn't that the purpose of existence on this small, mystifying planet in the first place?

Following the wishes of her parents and younger brother who went before her, Lori chose to be cremated. In lieu of any flowers we ask instead if you can leave a place in your hearts to remember someone who was sensitive, loving and caring on one hand, while also sarcastic, outrageous and very witty on the other hand. Not to mention being drop-dead gorgeous!! (She would have demanded that I say that).

My siblings and I would like to thank all of you for your support and sympathy during the past year and we would like you to know that we love all of you.

Lynn, Gary and Neal Johnson

Peace and Luv,

JEANNIE

As I read the wonderful tender, yet witty post written by Neal's sister. I cried. You are so blessed. My heart goes out to all of you at this time. Take care of each other and honor Lori by living life to it fullest everyday.

(The dandilion photo you used is breathtaking and poignent.)

Great BIG Hugs for my special dragonfly friend and her loved ones.
