Dear Coffee ~

When I started making this card it was still morning and I had a cup of coffee in my hand...now here it is half the day over, and I'm finally getting it posted :)

This is for the Sketch Saturday Challenge No. 356.

When I walked Bleeker this morning (another reason I didn't get this card done earlier), I not only stopped and smelled the roses, but I picked a couple too!  Don't worry, the HOA here is cool with it, haha!

My first shot at printing this digital came out too small, but I decided to use it anyway on the inside.

A Single Flower ~

This one is for the Stella Says Sketch Challenge over at Catch the Bug.  This was a great little paper pack from Teresa Collins called Stationery Noted that is coming to an end for me.  I enjoyed all of the papers in it, and you can't usually go wrong with good old red, white, and blue!

I like Big Cups...

This is another online stamp purchase (I've been so bad lately) that I just received.  Between wine and coffee, it seems I just can't pass up cute stamps when I see them!

More Glasses ~

Here's the rest of the gals from this set of wine stamps that I picked up.

Again, not crazy about the quality.  Case in point is the sentiment.  I guess I just prefer solid lines, so I'm not sure if they are supposed to be like this or if I'm doing something wrong.  This was fun to color anyway!

Wine a little, you'll feel better ~

I need more stamps like a hole in my head, but I just so happened to walk down the stamp aisle at Michael's and saw that they were 40% off...I was good, I only purchased this one set that is all about wine and the funny ladies cracked me up. I am going to say that I am not exactly over the moon about the quality of it, so I'll just put that out there.  I did my best to get some good solid lines, but this is the best I could do.  The inside message is stamped with the title of the post!

Stamps - Art Impressions (No name on it).

Other Stuff - ProMarkers, pastel pencils, burlap string, glitter gems, corner rounder, Wink of Stella glitter (earrings & shoes), butterfly punch.

Petunia ~

I saw this sweet little piglet recently and knew I had to have some of these stamps.  I believe it's a new line from Stamping Bella, but I'm not sure.  At least they're new to me, and just so dang adorable! I bought 3 of them, so here's the first one, and I'll be putting the other 2 together for you this weekend.

Easter / Spring ~

Here are the final 3! This one is very sparkly, as we used Stickles on it.  It took forever to dry, but it was worth it!

I think these two are my favorite, and certainly seems fitting for all of the Spring gardening we're all ready to do.

Last but not least, are these happy chicks!  So sweet, with some of the soft pretty colors of Easter.

That's it for now, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Flower Power ~

I've got 3 more of the 7 cards from this months Card Extravaganza at the Occasional Artist to share with you today.  Again, I basically stamp the backgrounds at the shop (I forgot to get the manufacturers of the stamps again), and then I bring it home and add my own touch to it.  I've never done this technique before; we used markers on a large stamp, then mist it with a spray bottle and stamped it.  The sentiment stamps I used are from CTMH called You're the Bomb-Operation Smile.
Poppies always remind me of Veteran's Day...and the Wizard of Oz.  At least I remembered to stamp the envelope this time.  The sentiment stamp I used for this one is from Stampin' Up.
On this one I used a glitter pen in the centers of the flowers, that I think are hollyhock's?  Anyway, I added some thick twine, and a sentiment stamp from the You Mean the World to Me set from CTMH.

I appreciate you visiting, and I love to get comments too.  Let me know which one of these are your favorite, and as they say...take time to smell the flowers!

Happy First Day of Spring ~

The card base and butterfly for this one was made at the Occasional Artist Shop that I've talked about over the past couple of months.  It's embossed on some shiny paper, and I brought it home and added another layer behind it, added a different sentiment, a little glitter tape, and a few sequins.  It looks like Spring to me!

Background stamp - Tim Holtz / Not sure of the butterfly...
Other Stuff - Versamark, embossing powder, inks/sponges, edge distresser, glitter tape, and sequins.

The Lotus Blossom ~

This very popular Lotus Blossom stamp is everywhere right now that you look.  I can see it being used for many different reasons, and many different colors too.

Everything used, except for the burlap string and button, are from Stampin' Up.
